Chapter 549 - New Beginning

"Congratulations, chosen ones, for completing the conquest of the first world." Suddenly, a voice entered Ryoha's ears, accompanied by a flood of information that revealed everything to him. He discovered that both his arrival in the ninja world and Bulma's arrival weren't coincidences but the result of this so-called Conquest Space.

The Conquest Space would select various life forms from countless dimensions and timelines, not just humans but other beings too. The chosen ones were sent to an unknown timeline without any assistance in their first encounter.

Completing the conquest of an entire world essentially meant becoming the strongest or dominating that world. The first conquest was considered the most challenging because there was no initial assistance. Unfortunate individuals often died shortly after arriving in an unfamiliar world. Take Ryoha, for example. If Bulma hadn't rescued him, he would have perished under the Nine-Tails' attack.

However, some were luckier. For instance, Ryoha and Bulma, who were chosen ones, were lucky not to become enemies. Usually, when chosen ones encounter each other in the same world, it leads to endless conflicts.

Contrary to expectations, Ryoha and Bulma didn't become enemies; instead, they supported each other. Bulma's advanced technological assistance helped Ryoha become stronger. Unbeknownst to them, they completed the conquest of the first world inadvertently. Ryoha turned to see Bulma beside him. They exchanged a smile, already the most loving couple. What could possibly affect their bond?

"What will happen to everything we've experienced in the first world?" Ryoha couldn't bear the thought of leaving behind people like Tsunade and others. He wouldn't allow any harm to come to them. He had thought that once the battle ended, he could lead a peaceful and comfortable life. Little did he know that the end of this was just the beginning of a new chapter.

Everything he had experienced was merely a test in the first world. Having acquired a wealth of information, he knew everything about this space. Apart from simultaneous conquests where chosen ones faced life and death in the same world, the most significant danger in this space came from the enemies in the conquered worlds.

When chosen ones enter a world to be conquered, variables are introduced. If unlucky, these variables could be unbelievable. Originally, after the conquest of the world, Ryoha and Bulma were supposed to go separate ways. But since they didn't become enemies and were judged by the Conquest Space as a chosen pair, they were allowed to remain together and conquer the next world.

"All conquered worlds fall under the control of the chosen ones who completed the conquest. Once a conqueror leaves a conquered world, time in that world stops. Time only resumes when the conqueror returns to that world after completing the conquest. In essence, regardless of how long the conqueror spends outside the conquered world, upon return, it's as if no time has passed because time stands still there."

The space before them was equivalent to a room given to the reincarnators by the Supreme God—a place that could change at will. Whenever there was a problem, they could directly appeal to the Conquest Space.

"So, I can return at any time? And the other chosen ones can't?" Ryoha asked, feeling concerned.

"That's correct. Chosen ones Bulma and Ryoha have completed the conquest of the Naruto world. Everything in this dimension will be tied to both of your souls. As long as you're alive, during the twenty-day rest period after completing each world conquest, you can enter the world you've conquered."

"Wait a minute, what's the time difference? We have twenty days until the next conquest. If we spend all twenty days in the world where we're bound, how does the time flow there compare to the time flow here?"

"There's no difference. After completing conquests in any of the bound worlds, we will be forcibly brought back to the Conquest Space exactly twenty days later to immediately select the next world to conquer."

Ryoha was well aware that the Conquest Space didn't have a concept of exchanging items or bloodlines. Everything depended on one's efforts, luck, and occasionally, opportunities. Moreover, there were rewards after each completed conquest.

The reward allowed the chosen ones to select an item, tool, ability, or even a bloodline in the next world to conquer. However, whatever they obtained was only the most basic version, the weakest form. For instance, if the next world were the Bleach universe, Ryoha could choose a Zanpakuto. However, the Zanpakuto might not even have reached its Shikai state, let alone its Bankai. Whether it could be unsealed depended on Ryoha.

Furthermore, every time they entered a new conquest world, the abilities and strengths gained from the previous world would disappear, reverting to the state before entering the Conquest Space. For instance, if Ryoha entered the Bleach world, all his abilities from the Naruto world, such as his knowledge of the Shadow Clone Technique, would vanish. Yet, if he gained more potent abilities in the Bleach world and returned to the Conquest Space after completing the conquest, he would retain those abilities.

At least the acquired strength would persist until entering the next world. This meant that as long as the conquest of the next world hadn't begun, Ryoha would retain the powers acquired in the Naruto world. When he returned to the Naruto world, he would possess the same abilities. It was a continuous exchange of power, becoming stronger with each conquest. Perhaps after a certain point, the powers obtained might surpass the control of the Conquest Space and wouldn't be stripped away.

In other words, if Ryoha conquered the next world, the Bleach universe, and reached the stage of achieving the Bankai with the Zanpakuto, his powers in his previous world, like the Naruto universe, would disappear. They'd be replaced by the powers from the Bleach universe. Yet, whenever he returned to either the Bleach or Naruto world, he would have the powers of the Bleach world until the commencement of a new conquest. This cycle continued.

Therefore, if the power system in the conquered world was weaker than the previous one, the acquired power would also be inferior. Returning to a bound world with inadequate strength might even lead to being killed by individuals from the previous world.

Hence, the Conquest Space employed this method of stripping away power to push the chosen ones to continuously select worlds stronger than the last for conquest. No one wanted to live a life where death could strike at any moment. Some even sought ways to resist the Conquest Space in these increasingly powerful worlds to transcend it, avoiding being stripped of the hard-earned powers gained through arduous training.
