He has low stamina, low strength, low agility, he can only do tricks to increase his survival, after all, he have to blend in with the zombies today to arrive at his destination that is not exactly nearby.
According to the novel's timeline, if he arrive there today and wait for a few days, he will eventually meet the fourth male lead that had gone to the grocery store to stack up supplies with his team.
The city outside was almost indistinguishable to the city Ji Yanyu was once familiar with, the road was full of cars that had crushed onto buildings, the usually well-kept street was littered with trashes and broken glasses.
Bodies that had been dead for a long time with unrecognizable features were left outside without proper cremation, their organs spread open for the people to see and for the gruesome zombies to eat.
Low roars would occasionally escape from various areas, and Ji Yanyu could only restrain his stomach from churning any longer, murmuring in a low voice, "Damn, the protagonist must hurry and turn this apocalypse upside down.."
The smell outsider is unpleasant, rusty and full of deathly stillness that he hadn't gotten used to yet. Unlike the clean house that he had stayed at, everything here was disorganized and he couldn't easily adapt.

In the first few weeks, the zombies are still slow, blind, and could only follow their weak sense of smell, their movements are dull and unnatural, that is also why Ji Yanyu isn't too afraid right now.
Once the zombie reached a certain distance away, he swung the bat and accurately hit its head, smashing and banging until the zombie no longer moved.

But this doesn't apply to Ji Yanyu who had read the novel. This time, Ji Yanyu didn't hesitate to grab frozen foods, so long as he have the system space, he can stack them up as many as he could.
It was early afternoon when Ji Yanyu arrived at the backdoor of the grocery store, considering that the front of the grocery hadn't been broken open yet by the fourth male lead, he could only do the safer and roundabout way to enter.
