Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: Academy

---

The room settled into a comfortable silence as snacks were passed around. It had been an emotional journey watching Kyo grow from a six-year-old survivor to a teenager.

"Finally, we get to see teenage Kyo in his academy days," Kushina said, wiping away the last of her tears from the previous chapter. "My heart can't take much more drama."

"Knowing your son's luck with women, there will be plenty of drama," Mikoto teased, trying to lighten the mood.

Yuri sat forward, her hands clasped tightly, and seven years had passed in Kyo's world since she and Ryo died. She desperately wanted to see how her son had grown.

---

A week later, in the Uchiha residence. Kyo, Naruko, and Satsuki are getting ready to take the final test today while Asuka cleans some plates.

"They really did become a family," Mito observed warmly. "Four orphans finding solace in each other."

"It's beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time," Tsunade added, noting how Asuka had taken on the role of homemaker.

"Kyo! Come on, we're gonna be late!" Satsuki yells and calls for the Saiyan boy.

"Some things never change," Fugaku noted with a small smile. "Satsuki inherited her mother's punctuality."

"Wait up! I'm coming!" Kyo yelled back as he jumped from the stairs to the floor.

"Still energetic despite everything he's been through," Minato observed. "That's the strength of youth."

"YOSH! His spirit remains unbroken!" Guy declared with tears streaming down his face.

Naruko looks at the Uchiha boy and asks, "What, you take so long?"

Kyo rubbed the back of his head as he said, "Sorry-Sorry, I got something to do, and well, let's go! Bye, Asuka-Chan! Take care!"

Ryo smiled sadly. "He still has my habit of running late and making excuses."

Naruko nodded with a smile, "Bye, Asuka! I want to eat delicious food when we graduate!"

"Of course, my daughter is thinking about food," Kushina laughed, though her eyes were misty. "Some things are universal."

"At least she's confident about graduating," Naruto added with his own grin.

Satsuki gives a small smile, "Take care, Asuka."

Asuka gave the future Genin a smile as she said, "Yeah, same for all of you. I wish you luck!"

The trio runs out toward to academy, leaving the brunette alone.

Asuka wishes she could go to the academy with her friends, but she has lost her Chakra control. Her Chakra flow is a mess beyond repair, and that's why she can't go into the academy.

The room fell silent at this revelation.

"That's..." Sakura's voice cracked. "She survived all that torture, lost Akira, and now she can't even become a ninja?"

"Sometimes the greatest wounds are the ones we can't see," Kakashi said quietly, his visible eye reflecting understanding.

"At least she has a home and people who love her," Ino added, trying to find something positive. "That's more than she had before."

---

Kyo arrives at the Academy with Naruko and Satsuki as soon as Kyo opens the classroom.

The Saiyan boy sees all the girls give him a jealous glare because he walks with Naruko and Sasuki on his side.

"Ah, the teenage drama begins," Jiraiya said with a knowing chuckle. "Poor boy doesn't know what he's in for."

"Seven years and the fangirl situation hasn't improved," Tenten observed with sympathy.

While the boys ignore him because they think Kyo is good-looking with no skills, but are also jealous that he is walking with the most beautiful girl in the academy.

"If only they knew," Sasuke muttered with dark amusement. "He could destroy them all with his pinky finger."

"He's following the Hokage's orders perfectly," Hiruzen noted with approval. "Maintaining a low profile despite his true strength."

Don't blame Kyo because of the face he got, and he takes the Hokage's order to lie low.

"It must be incredibly frustrating," Neji observed. "To have such power but be forced to hide it."

"The burden of strength," Madara said with unexpected understanding.

"Why are you all looking at me like that?" Kyo asks his classmate, who ignores him.

"After everything he's been through, he still maintains that innocence," Kurenai said softly. "That's remarkable."

"Or he's just that dense about romance," Anko laughed. "Which makes him even more adorable!"

"Ignore them, Kyo. They are jealous of us." Satsuki said as she gave a glare at the boys,

"Protective Satsuki-chan!" Mikoto cooed, clasping her hands together. "She's defending her cousin!"

"More like defending her territory," Temari observed with a knowing smirk.

"Jealous? Why?" Kyo asks because he has no idea what they are jealous about.

The entire room groaned collectively.

"How can someone who fought Kage-level enemies be this oblivious?!" Tenten exclaimed in disbelief.

"He spent seven years training and protecting others," Shino stated logically. "Romance was likely never a priority."

"Plus, he's been dealing with grief," Hinata added quietly, understanding the weight of loss.

Naruko smiled and clung to Kyo's arm. "Come on, Kyo, let's take a seat."

"Bold move, Naruko!" Kushina cheered, pumping her fist. "That's my girl! Stake your claim!"

"Mom!" Naruto protested, his face red.

That action makes girls even more jealous, even boy that has a crush on Naruko.

"The battlefield has been drawn," Shikamaru observed lazily. "How troublesome."

When the Saiyan boy is about to take a seat, Kyo meets Someone with a familiar face. "Hey, Hinata-Chan." He greets his friend with a smile.

Hinata tensed, remembering what her younger self had done in the previous chapter.

Hinata is blushing, and suddenly, she snatches the hand that Naruko holds.

"The boldness continues!" Hanabi laughed, elbowing her sister who had turned crimson.

"She's not backing down from the kiss incident," Kiba observed with amusement.

"Hey!" Naruko growled in frustration.

"The battle for Kyo-kun begins," Kakashi eye-smiled behind his mask.

"Hi, Kyo-kun," Hinata said, blushing while still holding Kyo's hand.

Hinata has grown to the same height as Naruko and Satsuki, 4.8ft, as she wears an oversize light brown hoody to cover her C-cup breast with a bob haircut, with navy blue cargo pants.

"The girls have all developed well," Kurenai noted with a teacher's pride.

Jiraiya opened his mouth but immediately shut it when both Tsunade and Yuri turned to glare at him.

"I wasn't going to say anything!" he protested weakly.

Kyo has little blush on his face because Hinata holds his hand while smiling warmly at him.

"At least he's showing some awareness," Shikamaru noted. "He's not completely hopeless."

"The kiss probably helped," Ino giggled, causing Hinata to squeak and cover her face.

"So how Hanabi? Sorry, I didn't visit you last week." Kyo apologized as Hinata shook her head.

"Aw, he's checking on me," Hanabi said with a pleased smile. "Good to know I have him trained properly in that world too."

"You were only four in that world," Neji reminded her.

"And already had a crush on Kyo-kun," Hanabi shot back with a grin.

"No need to apologize Kyo-Kun, but Hanabi did say she would make you pay for didn't come train with her," Hinata said with a giggle as Kyo sweatdrop.

"That definitely sounds like something I'd say," Hanabi nodded with satisfaction.

Hiashi sighed. "Both my daughters, completely smitten with the same boy."

"That enough, Hinata... Kyo didn't like to get people's attention." Satsuki said as she tried to break the hold.

"Three-way rivalry," Orochimaru observed with his characteristic amusement. "How interesting."

"Four-way if you count Asuka's feelings," Kabuto corrected.

Hinata realizes that everyone, especially the girls, is looking at her with a glare. Hinata's face turns to red tomato, same with Kyo's.

"Some of her shyness remains," Hiashi noted with something like relief. "She hasn't completely changed."

The Hyuga heiress lets go of his arm and goes back to her seat. Kyo, Naruko, and Sasuki sit beside each other.

The Saiyan boy sees Someone and walks toward them. Kyo gives a smile while greeting them. "Hey, Sakura-chan, Ino-chan."

Both kunoichi sat up straighter, interested to see their alternate selves.

"Hi, Kyo-kun!" Sakura said with a blush.

"Even alternate me has taste," Sakura muttered, slightly embarrassed but not surprised.

This girl is Sakura Haruno, and she has long pink hair with green eyes, which is quite rare because she is the only one with pink hair. She wears a red Qi Gong with short arms sleeves and black short leggings, and has A-cup breasts.

"At least I kept my hair long," Sakura noted, touching her own short pink locks.

"Hi, Kyo-Kun," Ino Yamanaka said with a blush on her face.

"Of course I'm interested in the strongest and most handsome guy," Ino said without shame.

This girl has pale blond ponytail hair similar to Naruko's, but cleaner with pale, pupilless green eyes. She wears a dark purple jacket with no arm sleeves, with a purple skirt that only covers her front and back, but not her sides. She also wears bandages underneath her outfit to cover her modesty with B-cup breasts.

"That outfit is..." Inoichi started uncomfortably.

"Fashion forward!" Ino interrupted her father. "I clearly have style in any universe."

"Do you want to tell me something?" Kyo asks the girl as he sees that they wants to say something.

"He's actually attentive to them," Tenten noted with surprise. "That's sweet."

"He treats everyone with kindness," Yuri said with motherly pride, though tears threatened to fall again.

Sakura is the one speaking first. "Yes, I want to tell you good luck on the test."

Ino interrupted, "Hey! I'm the one who's gonna tell him that, Forehead!"

Sakura glared at the Yamanaka heiress, "What do you say, InoPig!"

The real Sakura and Ino looked at each other, then burst out laughing.

"Some things never change!" they said in unison.

"Even in alternate universes, you two are rivals," Sai observed with his fake smile.

Kyo chuckled. He had been dealing with fan girls since he was 6, and it started with these two girls. As he got nostalgic, this random girl soon became one of his friends years ago, but they were still quite fan girls who always sought his attention.

"Seven years," Tenten said sympathetically. "Seven years of dealing with fangirls."

"The price of being perfect," Temari shrugged.

"He's not perfect," Yuri said softly. "He's just... Kyo. My sweet boy who tries so hard to be strong for everyone else."

The room fell silent at the mother's words, the weight of her loss palpable.

Kyo sighed as he said with a smile. "Girls! Please calm down... and thanks for wishing me luck."

"Such patience," Kushina noted with approval. "Naruto would have run away screaming by now."

"Hey!" Naruto protested, though he couldn't really argue.

The pale blond girl smiled back, "Well, anything for you, Kyo-K-" Someone's voice cut her off.

"Well, girls, stop this shit. What the hell do you see in Kyo? He's good for nothing?!"

The temperature in the room seemed to drop as Tsume growled.

"My son's alternate is about to learn a very painful lesson," she said with a predatory grin.

They turn their heads to see the one who is talking, as all the girls yell in anger, "KIBA!!"

Kiba slumped in his seat, covering his face. "Why did it have to be me?"

"Because you're impulsive and jealous," Shino stated matter-of-factly.

A boy named Kiba got angry as he said, "KYO! I challenge you to fight me. I will show them that you are weak!"

"You're challenging someone who killed an S-rank missing nin at age six," Sasuke said flatly. "This won't end well."

Kiba Inuzuka, who is high at 5ft tall, wears a grey furry hoody with narrow black eyes and dark brown spiky hair, with a white puppy sitting on his head.

"At least I look cool," Kiba muttered weakly.

Akamaru whined sympathetically from his position on Kiba's head.

Kyo sighed, "Please, Kiba, I don't want to fight you."

"He's trying to show mercy," Itachi observed. "Admirable restraint."

"Too much restraint," Anko argued. "Sometimes you need to establish dominance."

Kiba snorted as he smirked. "Huh, what already scaring you? HAHAHA!"

"Famous last words," Naruto winced, remembering his own overconfidence in the past.

Satsuki and Naruko heard what he said, which made them angry with the other girls in the room.

"The protection squad activates," Jiraiya chuckled, though he quickly sobered at Tsunade's glare.

Naruko look at Kyo as she yell, "KYO! GO SHOW HIM YOUR STRENGTH!"

"Finally!" Naruto cheered. "Someone's telling him to stop holding back!"

"Though he still needs to be careful," Minato cautioned. "Too much power could seriously hurt Kiba."

Kyo sweatdrop as he tries to reason, "But Hokage sai-" He is being cut off.

"Poor boy, trying to follow orders," Hiruzen said with a mixture of pride and sympathy.

"No, this is the time and Kyo I... No, we didn't want you always to be called weakest in the Uchiha clan or the academy. Now it's time to show your strength to him that you are strong!" Satsuki said with ambition.

Mikoto wiped a tear. "Satsuki-chan, standing up for her cousin. They really are family."

Fugaku nodded approvingly. "She shows proper Uchiha pride."

Sakura nodded, "Yeah, show him that you're strong enough to beat him!"

Into agreed. "Yeah, Kyo-kun, go show him!"

These two actually didn't even know if Kyo could win or not, but they supported him as fangirls but mostly as friends.

"That's... actually kind of sweet," Tsunade admitted. "They're supporting him even without knowing his true strength."

"Blind faith," Shizune added with a smile.

"You can do it, Kyo-Kun!" Hinata said with confidence.

"Everyone believes in him," Mito said warmly. "He's truly loved."

All the girls give Kyo support which that makes Kiba angrier. "WELL, KYO, ARE YOU SACRED?! COME ON, ACCEPT MY CHALLENGE... AND I WILL BEAT ASS YOU RIGHT NOW!!"

"The jealousy is eating him alive," Shikamaru observed with his typical laziness, though his eyes showed interest.

Kyo rubs his temple, "Okay, I accept your challenge!"

"HERE WE GO!" Lee shouted, jumping to his feet. "THE POWER OF YOUTH WILL BE DISPLAYED!"

Kiba look suprice, "Huh!? Well, maybe you're not much Chicken, huh? Well, we will be fighting in the training yard."

"This will be quick," Neji stated with certainty.

"Okay, lead the way!" Kyo said as Kiba walked out with the Saiyan boy.

"Kiba is almost class time."

Kiba looked at one of his friends as he said, "Don't worry, Shino, this gonna be fast." He leads Kyo to the training yard.

"Prophetic words," Shino said in his monotone voice. "Just not in the way he expects."

"Well, if you say so." A boy with a circle shade name Shino Aburame has Durian black hair with sunglasses. He is wearing a light gay high, collar jacket with black cargo pants.

"Even alternate me tries to be the voice of reason," Shino noted. "Futilely."

"Come on, guys, let's watch Kyo-kun fight!" Ino asked her other classmate to see the fight.

"Everyone loves a good show," Choji said between munching his chips.

Hinata look at Kyo's male friends as she asks, "Are you coming, Shikamaru, Choji?"

"Well, if the hottest guy in class is getting beat, I'm in." A boy name Shikamaru Nara has a black spikey ponytail with small black iris eyes.

"Did I just..." Shikamaru looked mortified.

"You called him hot!" Ino cackled. "Even you admit it!"

"Troublesome," Shikamaru muttered, sinking lower in his seat.

"Well, tag me in." Another cubby boy name Choji Akimichi has brown spiky hair.

"Everyone wants to witness this," Asuma observed, lighting his cigarette before Kurenai snatched it away.

They all start walking outside the building while wanting to watch the fight between 'The last male Uchiha or Weakess Uchiha' and the Heir of Inuzuka.

"They have no idea what they're about to witness," Madara said with a smirk. "The 'weakest' Uchiha who could probably defeat me at my prime."

That statement shocked everyone, but Madara simply shrugged. "The boy fought beings that could destroy villages with ease. Credit where it's due."

---

All the class members were in the yard watching the fight. The girls want Kyo to win, while the boys wish Kyo to lose.

"The stage is set," Tobirama observed clinically.

Kyo and Kiba do a stretch, ready for the fight.

Kiba smirked as he said, "I will Rip off that pretty of yours. So get ready, Kyo!"

"Such confidence," Hashirama said, shaking his head. "Youth can be so blind."

Kyo sighed once again and smirked. "I don't think so, Kiba."

"Oh, he's getting cocky!" Ryo said with pride. "That's my boy!"

Yuri managed a watery smile. "He has your smirk."

"Hey Ino, do you think that Kyo-Kun actually can win?" Sakura asks her rival.

Ino gives Sakura a shoulder shrug. "I don't know because Kyo-Kun is always just about to pass the physical test, so I can't tell."

"They really have no idea," Kakashi said with an eye-smile. "This will be educational."

The conversation that the two of them hear between Naruko and Satsuki.

Naruko giggled as she said, "Don't you guys worry. Kyo is far stronger than you know."

"Understatement of the millennium," Jiraiya laughed loudly.

Satsuki nodded as she got annoyed by these two, "Yeah, if you truly like him, you guys should have faith in him."

"Good point," Fugaku approved. "Faith in one's comrades is essential."

"Sorry..." Sakura and Ino said at the same time.

"Kyo-Kun is surely gonna win. Just watch." Hinata said with a smile.

"The three who know him best," Minato observed. "They've seen glimpses of his true power."

Shikamaru becomes a referee in this fight. "You guys ready?"

"Of course you get stuck refereeing," Shikaku chuckled at his son. "Some things are hereditary."

"Troublesome," both Naras said in unison.

Kyo pops his knuckle and gets into the fighting pose, similar to Gai's fighting pose. "Yeah."

"YOSH!" Guy exploded with tears streaming down his face. "HE USES THE MIGHTY GAI STANCE! MY TEACHINGS LIVE ON!"

"Guy-sensei!" Lee joined his teacher, both crying manly tears. "KYO-KUN'S YOUTH BURNS BRIGHT!"

Tenten sighed and handed them tissues.

"Born, ready!" Kiba said with a smile as he also got into a fighting pose.

Shikamaru: "Okay, then, now, FIGHT!"

Everyone leaned forward in anticipation.

Kiba strikes his pet Akamaru strike on top with his pet rush attack while Kiba strikes low; Kyo dodges the attack in the middle space and backflips away.

"Clean evasion," Hiashi noted with his analytical eye. "Perfect spatial awareness."

Kyo up his power to 2% in a split second, dodging a more incoming attack from left to right with ease.

The room exploded.

"TWO PERCENT?!" Naruto shouted, jumping to his feet. "ONLY TWO PERCENT?!"

"And he's already untouchable," Madara observed, genuinely impressed. "Fascinating."

Kiba had his head in his hands. "I'm about to be destroyed by someone using 2% power. Kill me now."

"Don't worry," Tsume patted her son's shoulder, though she was clearly trying not to laugh. "It's a learning experience."

"What? Is that it?" Kyo asks with a smirk.

"Now he's just showing off," Sasuke said, though there was approval in his voice.

"He's been hiding for so long," Itachi observed. "Perhaps he's enjoying the freedom to display even this much."

Kiba growled, "YOU DONE!" He is about to make the other punch.

Kyo disappeared and reappeared in the middle air and kicking Kiba's face.

"DYNAMIC ENTRY!" Guy shouted again. "PERFECTLY EXECUTED!"

"Poor Kiba," Kurenai said sympathetically, though she too was fighting a smile.

---

All of them are surprised except for Naruko, Satsuki, and Hinata. They knew that Kyo was faster and stronger than Kiba.

"The shock must be palpable," Anko grinned widely. "All their assumptions shattered in an instant."

Choji were shocked as he asked, "How did Kyo do that?"

Sakura nodded, "Yeah, he just disappeared in the blink of an eye."

"If only they knew that was him barely trying," Tsunade shook her head. "The boy could probably destroy the entire academy with a sneeze at full power."

Shikamaru sighed as he said, "Troublesome. I must be dreaming right now that Kyo can hit Kiba, and Kyo didn't use Shunshin. It was just pure speed."

"Smart as always," Shikaku said proudly. "Immediately recognizing it wasn't a jutsu."

"Though even you couldn't imagine the truth," Shikamaru added to his alternate self.

"Sugoi...(Awesome)" The fangirls said at the same time.

"And his fan club grows stronger," Temari laughed. "This will be troublesome for him."

"More troublesome for whoever tries to date him," Kankuro added with a smirk.

---

Kiba rub his face, "Owe! That hurt, but I'm Not Done Yet!"

"Persistent," Gaara observed simply. "Foolish, but persistent."

Kyo smirk as he replies. "So am I, Kiba."

"He's enjoying himself," Ryo said with a knowing look. "The Saiyan blood loves a good fight, even a one-sided one."

They continue their fight.

---

Naruko, Satsuki, and Hinata rub their forehead noticing Sakura and Ino.

"They know what's coming," Kushina giggled. "Kyo's about to play with his food."

Sakura can't help but asks, "What's wrong?"

"It seems like Kyo getting fun." Naruko reply.

"A Saiyan having fun in battle," Ryo confirmed with a more serious tone. "Even holding back, his instincts are taking over."

"Is that dangerous?" Hinata asked worriedly.

"Not at 2% power," Yuri assured her. "Kyo has excellent control. Gai-san trained him well."

"What's wrong with him having fun?" Ino asks because it nothing wrong with that to her.

Satsuki sighed, "Kyo got carried away. He wants the fight last longer, while you can look at Kiba. He wants to end this quickly. Kyo doesn't look at this as a challenge anymore. It's more like..."

"Sparing?" Sakura asks as she receives a nod from Naruko and Satsuki.

"He's treating it like training," Minato observed. "That's actually quite insulting if you think about it."

"But also merciful," Itachi countered. "He's giving Kiba a chance to show his skills, to learn."

---

Kyo and Kiba continue the fight, but Kyo decides to power down a little bit to match Kiba's speed.

"HE POWERED DOWN?!" Naruto exclaimed in disbelief. "He's literally handicapping himself more?!"

"That's..." Sasuke paused. "Actually kind of respectful. He wants Kiba to have a real fight."

After about 10 min, the fight continues, and they both break the fight.

"Ten minutes?!" Tobirama's eyebrows rose. "He extended a fight he could end in a second to ten minutes?"

"He's kind," Hashirama said warmly. "Giving his classmate a chance to shine, to feel proud of his efforts."

"Or he's just bored and playing," Madara countered, though there was no malice in it.

Kiba is breathing heavily, while Kyo is normal breathing and stands strong.

"Not even winded," Guy observed with pride. "EXCELLENT CONDITIONING! THE POWER OF YOUTH!"

"After ten minutes of fighting, even holding back," Lee added with stars in his eyes. "KYO-KUN'S TRAINING MUST BE LEGENDARY!"

Kyo smiled, "That was fun, but we have to stop this, Kiba."

"He's being merciful," Hiashi noted. "Ending it before Kiba exhausts himself completely."

Kiba shook his head and said, "N-No! I will not lose... HA!" He was running toward Kyo and struck first.

"Pride," Neji said simply. "It blinds us to reality."

"Speaking from experience?" Tenten teased gently.

Neji allowed a small smile. "Perhaps."

Kiba makes a lower spinning back kick that hits Kyo, and Kyo immediately counters with a High kick and hand on the ground to support him up.

"Beautiful counter!" Lee exclaimed. "The form! The balance! The technique!"

"Okay, that's enough!"

All the students looked at who they were, as they said at the same time. "IRUKA-SENSEI!?"

"Saved by sensei," Kiba said with genuine relief. "Thank the gods."

"At least Iruka knew to intervene," Hiruzen nodded approvingly.

Iruka has a short brown ponytail with black eyes. He is wearing a Chunin vest, a black long-sleeve shirt underneath, and black cargo pants.

"Iruka-sensei!" Naruto said fondly. "Always looking out for his students."

Kyo goes to Kiba and reaches his hand to Kiba as the Saiyan boy says with a smile, "Hey, that was a good fight, Kiba,"

The room went quiet at this gesture.

"Even after being challenged and insulted," Mito said softly, warmth in her voice. "He shows nothing but kindness."

"That's... that's our Kyo-kun," Yuri said, tears flowing freely now. "Always kind, always forgiving."

Ryo pulled his wife close, his own eyes moist.

Kiba gave a look for a couple of seconds as he sighed and smiled. "Yeah, that was a good fight." He accepts Kyo's help and grabs his arm. "Sorry for insulting you, Kyo."

"At least alternate me knows when to apologize," Kiba muttered, a bit of respect in his voice.

"Nuh, it's okay. I know you didn't mean it." Kyo said with a smile.

"So forgiving," Hinata said softly, her eyes gentle. "Kyo-kun really has a pure heart."

Kiba: "Haha! Guest, what Kyo? I will make you my rival! By the way, are you all out with that fight?"

"A rivalry born from respect rather than hatred," Kakashi observed. "How refreshing."

"Unlike some rivalries we know," Sakura said, glancing between Naruto and Sasuke, who both huffed.

Kyo shrugged as he said, "Nah, not much, and or the rivalry, well, it is on! hehe."

"NOT MUCH?!" Sakura exclaimed. "He was using 2% power and says 'not much'?!"

"Humility or honesty?" Shino questioned.

"Both," Sasuke answered. "It really wasn't much for him."

Iruka walks toward them with a smile, "That was impressive, Kyo. You finally beat Kiba..." as he switches to thought, 'Even you are already the strongest than most of them here. But still.' "I am so proud of you, and guess what?"

"Iruka-sensei knows his true strength," Naruto said with understanding. "He was there during the Mizuki incident."

"He's probably one of the few who truly understands what Kyo is capable of," Kakashi added.

"What, Iruka-Sensei?" Kyo asks while tilting his head to the side.

"That head tilt is adorable," several of the females said in unison, then looked at each other in surprise.

"You pass!" Iruka said with a smile.

The room went silent for a moment.

"Pass what?" Naruko asks because she and the others have no idea what Kyo got passed to.

"The confusion is real," Shikamaru noted, leaning forward with interest.

Iruka put his hand on Kyo's head as he said. "Kyo already pass the Genin test!"

"NANI!! (WHAT!!)"

"HE PASSED JUST FROM SPARRING?!" Naruto exploded, jumping to his feet. "THAT'S NOT FAIR! I HAD TO STEAL THE FORBIDDEN SCROLL AND LEARN SHADOW CLONE JUTSU!"

"Well, Naruto," Hiruzen chuckled, stroking his beard. "Kyo did demonstrate taijutsu skills far exceeding genin requirements. In fact, he showed jonin-level speed and reflexes while holding back 98% of his power."

"Still not fair," Naruto pouted, crossing his arms.

All of them were in shock except Kyo, his a little late, his mind late to process it, and after a couple of seconds.

"Eh? Nani?" Kyo asks.

The room burst into laughter.

"Even Kyo didn't expect it!" Kushina laughed, holding her sides. "He's as confused as everyone else!"

"That's hilarious," Jiraiya chuckled. "He wasn't even trying to graduate early!"

"My Kyo-kun," Yuri said through happy tears. "Already a genin. I'm so proud."

"The youngest graduate this year," Minato observed with a smile. "Without even meaning to be."

"I wonder what team he'll be placed on," Sasuke mused thoughtfully.

"More importantly," Ino leaned forward eagerly, "will the girls be on his team?"

"Can you imagine the chaos if they're not?" Sakura added. "The fangirls will riot!"

"This is going to cause so much drama," Temari predicted with a grin.

"Troublesome," Shikamaru sighed, already imagining the complications.

---

The screen faded to black, leaving everyone in anticipation.

"WHAT?! That's it?!" Naruto shouted. "What about the team assignments?!"

"I need to know who gets to be on Kyo-kun's team!" Ino demanded.

"The drama is killing me," Sakura added, practically vibrating with excitement.

"Will all three girls be on his team?" Mikoto wondered aloud. "That would be unprecedented."

"Four-man cells are rare but not unheard of," Hiruzen mused. "Especially for exceptional circumstances."

"With Kyo's power level, he might need a specialized team," Tobirama suggested analytically. "Perhaps even a jonin-level squad immediately."

"He's technically stronger than most jonin already," Madara pointed out. "The boy could probably take the chunin exams tomorrow and pass without effort."

"But he needs experience," Kakashi countered. "Power isn't everything."

"Says the man who became jonin at 12," Guy teased his rival.

"Regardless," Yuri said softly, still wiping tears, "I'm just happy to see him succeeding. To see him surrounded by friends who care about him."

"He's built himself a family," Ryo agreed, holding his wife. "Even without us there, he's not alone."

"That's the most important thing," Mito said warmly. "No matter how strong someone is, they need people who love them."

"Speaking of which," Anko grinned mischievously, "anyone taking bets on which girl wins the Kyo sweepstakes?"

"ANKO!" Multiple voices shouted.

"What? I'm just saying what everyone's thinking!" she defended. "My money's on Hinata. Did you see that kiss power move?"

"Naruko has the childhood friend advantage," Kushina argued. "Plus, they live together!"

"But Satsuki is family," Mikoto countered. "That bond is special!"

"What about Asuka?" Tsunade pointed out. "She clearly has feelings too."

"The poor boy is going to be overwhelmed," Jiraiya said with a perverted giggle, before being punched by Tsunade.

"He's thirteen!" she reminded him forcefully.

"Can we please watch the next chapter?" Sasuke requested, trying to redirect the conversation. "I want to see the team assignments."

"Agreed," Hiruzen said. "Guardian-sama, if you would?"

The Guardian's light pulsed. "Very well. Shall we continue to see young Kyo's journey as a genin?"

"YES!" came the unanimous response.
