Zhou Shan's home.
After reaching an agreement to join.
Xu Yun's expression relaxed considerably.
Then he thought for a moment and said:
"Academician Zhou, when do you think you'll be available to report to the company?"
Zhou Shan glanced at Huang Liping, who was walking out of the kitchen. The couple exchanged a deeply tacit look, and he replied:
"Give me a week. I'll take some time to wrap up things here in Yong City, and as soon as that's settled, I'll fly straight to Lu Prefecture."
Huang Liping also nodded cheerfully.
In fact, right after the end of his prison term, Zhou Shan and Huang Liping had already reached consensus:
The research must go on, but he would never work within the official system again.
Although Zhou Shan spent twelve years in prison, making him something of a "tainted" scholar,
everyone in the scientific community knew the ins and outs of the whole affair, so naturally no one shunned him just because of his record.
