The orb was a big, round, clear ball, with 10 smaller balls around it. Right now, we're in line to check our elements and affinity. There's another orb in front of it, but not as big as the other one, this one is to check how fast you can learn and grow stronger. The colors for this test are, pink, yellow, blue, green, and red, with pink being the lowest and red being the highest. Kids from the age of 12 are required to come to this test.
An elderly man stood on the podium, this man was Mark Anderson, the first person to unlock his element in the whole world. He is a mage with the elements fire and wind, he is also the strongest man alive now at the age of 75. There are stages in the cultivation of elements. They are;
Body Strengthening stage
Energy Absorbing stage
Energy Core Formation stage
Core Tower stage
Core Rings stage and
Spirit Contract stage
These were all known from the books the gifted wrote. Mark Anderson is currently in the Energy Core Formation stage.
"Welcome everyone, this is the testing arena, to find out which one of you is suitable for battle, but you'll be trained to the maximum, it all depends on your talent. Good luck, and I'll see you later" Mark said, then the test began.
"Hey, I don't think we should light them all up" Blake said
"Of course I know that, let's light up 6 orbs, okay?" I said
"Yeah"Blake said
The test continued and soon it was my turn. I walked to the front, placed my hand on it and channeled the energy in me to my fingertips, the orb glowed and showed 2 colors, brown and purple. After checking that, I could hear the elders and everybody whispering but, I ignored it and went to the next test, I placed my hand on it and repeated the process. The orb shone a pitch black colour and 6 smaller orbs were lit. The elders looked at me in shock, apparently, they haven't seen a black colour before. It was Blake's turn now, he did the exact same thing as me, the first orb showed, dark blue and red, the second orb shone with a pure white colour and he lit 6 smaller orbs. The elders were just staring at us like they've seen a ghost.
The next kid followed after and so it continued.

Somewhere far, FAR away
"Dad, please let me go out there, I want to see what it looks like, I want to see the sun, please?" A boy of about 12 years old said pleadingly
"No, the sun is dangerous for us, don't bring it up again or I'll lock you in your room, understand?" A man in his early forties said
"But-"
"No buts, go back to your room"
The boy went inside his room and slammed the door, he walked angrily to his bed and sat down.
"Just you wait, I'll definitely get out of here"
