As blue, yellow, and orange painted a picturesque sunrise, Zeph awoke without enough time to enjoy it or the feeling of Sprillia's and Rena Riley's pressing against him as his mind tried to linger inside the memories it had formed during the night instead of reluctantly focusing on what needed to be done in the next twenty-four hours.
It probably wasn't the best thing, medically speaking, to have done what he did with Rena, but in terms of her mental and emotional health it was exactly what the doctor ordered. Granted that doctor was an AI that was very "loyal" to Zeph's needs and desires. It also gave him half a chance to see how she was doing, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally, even if most of his focus was on Sprillia Spinnererett and her mating needs.
