Chapter 412 - Chapter : 303 : The Disparity Showdown

The situation on the battlefield was already clear for everyone to see. More than 300 Daemons had been completely immobilized by the devastating ice crystal bombardment, leaving fewer than 700 Daemons still capable of fighting.

Everyone on the other side was still present and accounted for. The only casualty so far had been a Golden Dragon. Aside from that, every other species remained completely unharmed.

In terms of numbers, the difference was enormous. On one side stood an army of nearly 10,000, while on the other stood just over 700. The disparity between the two sides was almost absurd.

At the beginning of the battle, the situation had been different. The Daemon army had possessed an overwhelming advantage, and victory had seemed almost certain. But after the appearance of the Frost Ice Spirits and the devastating ice bombardment, the situation had changed dramatically.

Now, however, another question had emerged. How should they make the most of this rare opportunity? Should they launch an all-out assault and fight until the very end? Or should they adopt a defensive formation, gradually wear down the remaining Daemons, and wait for the perfect opportunity to launch a counterattack?

The final decision ultimately rested with the Creators of the Wine Pandas, the Bear Warriors, and the Golden Dragons.

Sergey smiled and calmly said, "This is an excellent opportunity. You absolutely cannot let it slip away. A chance like this may never come again."

"Sergey is right." Baroque nodded heavily. His eyes were fixed on the Daemon army, and there was a trace of undisguised hostility in his voice. "I've disliked these arrogant Daemons for a long time. Since they have finally given us an opportunity to strike them hard, we have to take advantage of it. Better yet, let's wipe these bastards out completely."

Augustus remained silent. However, after a moment, he slowly nodded. His expression was unusually solemn. The image of the Golden Dragon being killed almost instantly still lingered in his mind, and it had left him deeply unsettled.

Although the Golden Dragon was unquestionably one of the strongest combat species on their side, it had been completely powerless when facing that terrifying Daemon. That fact alone was enough to make anyone cautious.

"Very well." Sebastian finally spoke.

His expression was serious, and his gaze swept across the battlefield before settling on the three Planetary Lords. "Then we'll proceed with the plan to go to war."

He paused briefly before continuing. "Are you all willing to let the Bear Warriors serve as the main attacking force this time?"

No one objected. In fact, no one even questioned the decision. The battle just now had already made the situation painfully obvious. Although the Golden Dragons possessed the strongest individual combat power among the three species, they were still no match for the Daemon. In a direct confrontation, the Golden Dragon had been killed almost instantly.

The Bear Warriors, on the other hand, were not as powerful as the Golden Dragons in terms of their initial combat strength. But against the Daemons, their potential threat was actually even greater.

The reason was their unique talent: Berserker. The longer the Bear Warriors fought against the same enemy, the more their attack power would continue to increase. As long as they survived the initial stage of the battle, their strength would continue to accumulate.

Of course, surviving that initial period was the key. The Bear Warriors would need the Wine Pandas and Golden Dragons to support them during the early stages of the battle. Once their attack power had accumulated to a certain level, they could truly display the terrifying power of their Bloodthirsty talent. And right now, the situation was particularly unfavorable for the Daemons.

On the other side of the battlefield, the Daemon army was also making its final preparations for a counterattack against Sebastian.

Eric's voice remained confident, but for the first time, there was a trace of surprise hidden beneath that confidence. "I underestimated you."

His eyes narrowed slightly as he stared at the Frost Ice Spirits. "What is the name of this remarkable species?"

"Frost Ice Spirit," Iris answered coldly, and her beautiful eyes contained no warmth whatsoever as she looked toward Eric. "Remember that name, as this is a Super species unique to our Ice Moon Holy Land."

"Ice Moon Holy Land?" Eric pondered for a moment. Then, a smile slowly appeared on his face. "I've never heard of it. But being able to create such a remarkable species is certainly impressive."

He glanced toward the frozen Daemons. "I must admit, I originally thought you were weak and would be defeated easily, but you've surprised me. You've even managed to give my creature a good challenge."

Iris sneered. "You may still be laughing now, but you'll be crying later."

Eric's expression remained indifferent. "If you have any other tricks up your sleeve, then use them."

He gestured toward the battlefield. "Right now, 300 of my units have been frozen, so this is undoubtedly your greatest opportunity. Although I'm still uncertain about the exact effect of your creature's ability, my Daemons are still breathing, so they're still alive. Give it enough time, and the effects of the freezing will eventually disappear."

"Once that happens..." Eric smiled. "You will have no chance left."

Iris responded with nothing more than a cold snort as she did not bother answering. Words were meaningless now. The only thing that mattered was the battlefield. The outcome would be decided there.

"All troops, move out!" Sebastian suddenly issued the order.

The specific battlefield commands were immediately handed over to Sergey, Augustus, and Baroque, and the three Planetary Lords immediately began coordinating their respective armies.

The Wine Pandas, Golden Dragons, and Bear Warriors rapidly formed their formations, then they began advancing simultaneously, and the ground trembled beneath their feet. Their target was obvious: the frozen Daemons.

The tactic was extremely straightforward. Approach the Daemons, force them into close combat, and draw their attention. Then use their overwhelming numerical advantage to launch the offensive.

There was no complicated strategy involved. It was simply an attempt to make full use of the enormous advantage they possessed at this moment.

As soon as the Daemons saw the approaching army of Wine Pandas, Bear Warriors, and Golden Dragons, their expressions changed slightly. The sheer scale of the opposing army was enough to create pressure. However, the Daemons quickly regained their composure as they could not simply ignore their frozen companions.

Those frozen Daemons were still alive. If they were left behind, they would eventually be surrounded and eliminated. Therefore, to confront the army composed of the three Super species, the Daemon side immediately dispatched 300 Daemons.

The moment this happened, everyone watching the battlefield was appalled, and their eyes widened in disbelief.

"Only 300?"

"They're actually sending just 300 Daemons?"

"Are they insane?"

A wave of discussion immediately spread through the surrounding crowd. Many people couldn't believe what they were seeing. The difference in numbers was simply too ridiculous; even with the terrifying combat power of the Daemons, sending only 300 against nearly 10,000 soldiers seemed reckless. It was almost as though Eric had completely lost his mind.

But among the crowd, someone suddenly noticed something.

"Wait." Volkmar, who had considerable experience, immediately raised his voice. "Don't rush to judge them. First, check whether those 300 Daemons are truly Low-Level Daemons."

His words immediately caused everyone to pause. Low-Level Daemons?

The crowd quickly remembered something. There were specific markers that indicated a Daemon's level, and those markers were magic lines that appeared on their horns.

One magic line represented a Low-Level Daemon.

Two magic lines represented a Medium-Level Daemon.

Three magic lines represented a High-Level Daemon.

These markings could not be forged, as they were an inherent characteristic of the Daemons themselves and served as a clear indication of their strength. However, there was one special circumstance. When a Low-Level Daemon was approaching the point of evolving into a Medium Daemon, an additional magic line would begin appearing on its horn.

At that stage, although the Daemon had not officially become a Medium-Level Daemon, its combat power would already surpass that of an ordinary Low-Level Daemon. Therefore, simply identifying a Daemon as "Low-Level" was not enough, so their specific condition had to be examined as well.

Everyone immediately turned their attention toward the 300 Daemons advancing across the battlefield. One by one, they carefully examined the magic lines on the Daemons' horns. Then, the expressions of the crowd gradually changed.

There were no hidden Medium-Level Daemons, and there were no High-Level Daemons. There were not even any Low-Level Daemons on the verge of breaking through. All 300 of them were genuine Low-Level Daemons, as their horns displayed only a single magic line. And aside from that, there was nothing extraordinary about them at all.
