A glowing white crystal, two hands made from the shadows, and a maniac eye. When order and violence is combined a new order is made. An absolute order.
Rowan woke up in a cold sweat, he held his head sweat was dropping down. Damn, what'd happen? The last thing he could remember was not answering Penny as she eventually left with a sort of regretful face. Did she do something to him? No that was unlikely, after that the power cut suddenly before an alert on the TV said rift break. Crap, a rift break now? He checked to see if anyone was dead.
"I'm still breathing and a live. Some ant monster roughed me up a bit. I killed it." Aaron reported. "A few ants were killed by us." Richard reported. "Fortunately I was able to dodge and run away." Lilith reported. Good no one died, but the power was still cut. Rowan arranged for everyone to meet at where Aaron is, from his report it seems like the trainers could fight off the ants. Everyone agreed as they went off on their journeys.
Lilith's journey wasn't dangerous, due to her superior speed she was able to make it across in half an hour. Richard, Quinn, and Sen's journey was even easier, turns out guns do just as much damage to an ant as they would do to a normal human. Don't even mention Rowan's journey, he easily dispatched any ants that came his way. Speaking of the ants, these ants seemed to be similar to the fire ant race, but just as big as a human. Every time one of these ants died, Rowan felt a certain energy entering him, it was faint but it was there. Also helped that whenever one of the clones killed an ant the same thing happened to them which in turn is given to the main body. Aka Rowan.
Rowan was close to the base, but a larger ant appeared. This was different from the other worker and soldier ants he encounter, a major ant. These majors were basically the tanks and swords of the nest, they wielded brutish strength and hard rock carapaces. These made them a huge enemy, Rowan would like to avoid this monster if possible but he couldn't. A hoard of a few dozen soldier ants chased him. He had about five minutes to kill this major and flee. Rowan was ready to battle, and battle he will.
The major ant acted first, its mandible bit at Rowan, but he ducked and hit the major with a powerful packed punch. PPP! The major ant was sent back a few steps, his hand hurt like hell and the major was barely injured. There was a cold look in Rowan's eye as he began to assault the major with a flurry of chain punches. With the speed from Lilith, incredible precision from Richard, and strength and experience from Aaron the ant was brought back a couple meters. The two went at it, Rowan ducked and counterattacked with a uppercut forcing the major on its back somehow. With barely any time Rowan brought his foot down on the major's head? And killed it, the energy that entered his body was much more vast and powerful than the others. He felt like his strength grew by ten percent. But soon the soldiers were on him and Rowan was forced to run. Quantity usually beat only slightly better quality after all.
As Rowan moved a step forward, something incredible happened. He was suddenly rammed by two majors! Rowan was sent flying into a brick wall, his internal self was bleeding pretty badly. Rowan was sure that something pierced his lungs when he spat out blood onto the concrete. He struggled to even bring his head up. The majors were closing on his position swiftly. However, he wouldn't die like that. Bullet holes appeared in the majors as they were forced back, Richard and his duo were there.
Quinn and Sen reloaded and started to pump the majors with two mags of bullets. Pretty soon the majors went down, looks like guns did work against those ants. But for the combined of them they only had a single magazine left. Richard quickly grabbed Rowan and started slashing. The group ran for their main body's life. Every time they came across a major the gun slinging duo would quickly shot two bullets into the ant's legs immobilizing them. Richard had immediately contacted Aaron and Lilith.
"Oi, where's Main?" Aaron asked. "With me, running from hoards of soldier ants. I need your help!"
"I got it." Lilith nodded as she turned to Aaron. They both immediately left the club even with people trying to stop them. Richard looked at the now unconscious Main body. "C'mon, don't die on me!"
The fight everywhere was brutal, people were dying left, right, and center. Superpowered people alike were ripped apart by majors, super majors, and the queen. This was a major disaster, maybe the trio would die. If they did then was it considered his win? If they didn't then he'd just kill them himself. Death was everywhere, chaos was the temporary norm. The government was trying to send some superpowered people to stop the madness. After this little incident the government would suffer extreme backlash from the public. To fail at the very thing they said they would protect... well smart people know that you can't stop anything. But stupid people? They only wanted to be right and have everyone agree with them no matter what.
Richard soon met up with Lilith and Aaron. The group of five were ready to defend Main no matter the cost. A bellowing roar could be heard, a towering ant the size of a truck appeared. Around it were over twenty majors. It had a sort of metal like exterior, its mandible looked like it could tear flesh apart as easily as a hot knife to butter. The aura around that... thing made even Aaron shudder in fear. Numerous and countless soldier ants surrounded the group of five. Things were about to get hectic, and not in a good way.
Because that thing? Was a super major.
