Growl!
Max hadn't travelled even 500 meters when he heard a beastly growl from ahead. He glanced behind him and saw they had yet to come down, so he pushed his speed to the limits while making sure his footsteps weren't making too much noise. He circled the area where the beast was, then came on the same route he was before.
A few moments later, he once again heard the beast growl along with the sound of something rushing toward him.
Max relaxed a bit because they would surely enter the beast's territory and it would give him a few more moments of time to increase the distance between them.
However, right as this thought crossed his mind…
"Grrr!"
Thud!
A pained growl sounded from behind him along with the sound of a heavy object falling. He immediately knew the beast had been killed.
'Was it a Tier 3 Beast?' He thought and felt like a fool.
