The Elders waited with bated breath for Elder Milo's response, hoping it would be positive otherwise things would become troublesome for them.
As for Elder Milo, he had been making preparations to leave on the mission when he received the message from Library Staff and paused.
Curious, when he read the message, he was first surprised, then a wry smile surfaced on his face.
"This guy… he is really a handful." he muttered.
Swoosh!
His companion beast—Ayrie—in her human form instantly appeared before him, staring at him with shining eyes and said, "You are talking about that stinky kid, right? Since he isn't reliable, we should take the little Python from him and raise—"
"Stop it, Ayrie. I told you we can't do it." said Elder Milo in exasperation.
"Hmph!" Ayrie snorted in dissatisfaction and lowered her head.
Elder Milo patted her head and said, "You should believe in Grand Elder's judgement. He is an extraordinary guy and Python will be sure to grow well with him."
