Dinner ended around nine o'clock.
Perhaps because it had been a while since they'd all gathered, Yancy Hale was particularly energetic and suggested they head to a bar to keep drinking.
Jasper White and Leo Childs were the first to make a run for it, but Ryder Sharp was trapped by him. The clubhouse had its own bar, so they didn't have to go far.
"I'm going to pass. I have work tomorrow," Donovan Sheridan said, glancing at the time.
"Sebastian too?" Sylvie Lockwood asked.
"Yeah."
"With Yancy's personality, he'll probably be wild for a while longer. Why don't you guys go ahead? I'll keep an eye on things here," Sylvie Lockwood proposed, then looked at Sydney Sawyer. "Syd, why don't you go back with them?"
"But my brother..."
Sydney Sawyer glanced at Ryder Sharp, who was still being pestered.
"He's definitely not getting away."
Yancy Hale was truly relentless.
