"Good morning Yamakawa-san."
"Good morning." Toshiko bowed.
These two had encountered each other many times before but never had the chance to talk since they were from different class. Toshiko knew nothing about Miyu except the fact that she was the top 1 student in their grade. As a perfectionist, she had a mixed feelings of admire and jealousy when confronting her.
Miyu on the other hand had known a little bit of informations about Toshiko regarding her family, grade and class she was in. She had heard some gossip from the girls circle saying that Toshiko was an attention seeker and someone who will do anything to get close to Shinji. However, she wasn't the type to believe or judge people without confronting them herself.
"Thank you for having me, Yamakawa-san."
"Me too, Takahashi-san."
"Ah you know me?"
"Of course I know the number 1 student in our grade. You're pretty much the talk of every student when the exam ended."
"Oh my, so I was pretty popular too ehh~"
"You just realise now? You know so much about everyone else but yourself." Hikari who was wiping the cooking utensils pried into the conversation.
"I'm only interested in everyone else ehehe~" Miyu scratched the back of her head.
"You're too considerate about everyone, but please do it in moderation and be a bit selfish sometimes."
Miyu could only nod to her best friend's advice. Although it would be hard to change her nature but she will do her best to keep Hikari from worrying too much.
"Alright, now let's start our main activity!"
"Osu!"
Miyu and Toshiko shouted back to Hikari's call with passion.

"Hmmmmmmm..."
A long stare was given to the freshly made oyokodon. A bright yellow coloured egg blanketed the rice underneath. A few pieces of chicken meats were stuffed as a topping to the dish. For some reason the three of them were frowning after seeing the outcome of their hardwork.
"The appearance looks good, but why do I feel something is wrong with the dish?" Hikari stroked her chin, deep in thought and wonder.
Toshiko furrowed her brow, trying to understand the way of thinking of an expert.
"Might as well try tasting it." Optimistic Miyu grabbed the spoon and took a mouthful of the oyakodon. She breathed in and out with her mouth while chewing the steaming hot dish. Hikari and Toshiko could see the change of expression on Miyu's face.
After she gulped down the food, her eyes were beaming.
"So sweet~"
"Ack!" The other two were shocked, especially Toshiko as she was responsible for doing 70% of the cooking.
"Oh no.. I'd probably mistaken the salt with sugar.." Toshiko took a spoonful with disheartened eyes.
"I-It's okay, Yamakawa-san. Everyone made mistakes."
"Yeah It's only a minor mistake anyway!"
Seeing their friend being sorrowful, Hikari and Miyu tried cheering her up however a broken perfectionist's heart was hard to please. Toshiko pouted as her eyes were spilling a bit of tears.
"Don't be sad, Yamakawa-san. You've done your best. Let's do it again until you succeed!" Miyu tightened her hand into a fist.
"You actually did pretty good for a first timer, Yamakawa-san. Don't worry."
Being patted in the shoulder by the infamous delinquent had opened Toshiko's heart. She wiped out the dry tears that were dripping on her cheeks.
"Thank you, both of you."
A gentle smile warmed their heart.
"Aww you're so cute!"
"I-I'm not cute!"
Toshiko flustered. Her face was beet red.
**Meanwhile...**
"Nii-chan."
"Kazu-Nii."
"Kazuya-niichan."
It was 5 a.m. in the morning. A soft voice was calling out Kazuya's name.
The voice became louder.
Kazuya's whole body was completely covered in blanket except his head. Kaya could see the expression he made during the sleep, a face of someone who had a very good night sleep that had no intent of waking up.
Kaya didn't want to bother her older brother but at the same time she felt lonely whenever her brother was not around. The little girl happened to wake up early today. She had tried waking up Kazuki but it was no use, he was a sleepyhead too just like his older brother.
Seeing her beloved older brother ignored her call, she climbed onto the bed and hopped on his older brother's body. While her little hands tapped him lightly asking for a reaction, Kazuya wasn't flinching nor moving out of his bed.
She gave up.
Thinking for another alternative, she crawled inside Kazuya's blanket and slapped her brother's face.
"Mmhh..." Kazuya grumbled. His eyes felt heavy to open as if they were being glued.
He turned his body to the right. Kaya, who was on her brother's body lost her balance and fell towards the other side of the bed and hit her head onto the wall.
*Thunk
"Mmhh... What's that sound...?" Kazuya was still half asleep.
"UWAAAHHHHHHH!!"
Kaya screamed her lungs out. A burst of tears were dripping from her eyes.
The scream snapped Kazuya out of his dream and instantly got himself up. His blanket was flown down the bed.
Kazuya held his little sister and brought her into his arms.
"It's alright, it's alright. You're a strong girl, right?"
After a few pats on her head, her crying slowly faded. She buried her face in her brother's chest, giving stains of tears on his shirt.
"Kazu-nii bad!"
"Ugh.."
Refused to elaborate, he got up from his bed and began folding his blanket. The pillows were put neatly side by side and the sheet was straightened. Kaya watched from behind, sometimes just slightly pulled the sheet to indicate that she was a good girl.
A few minutes later, someone opened the door leaving a creak sound which noticed both Kazuya and Kaya who were busy tidying up the bed.
"Kazuki, what's the matter." Kazuya saw his little brother beside the door, hugging his tiny bolster while rubbing his eyes.
Seemingly, Kazuki also happened to wake up early today.
"Um.. can I sleep with you, Kazu-nii.."
Before Kazuya could reply to the request, Kaya had intercepted.
"No! I wanna play with Kazu-nii!"
"Eehh that's not fair!" Kazuki, who was looking real sleepy a while ago, suddenly had his eyes widened after his sister raised her voice towards him.
"Ahh... Here we go again.." Kazuya scratched his head.
