   I felt something like being thrown into my head that made me grunt and rubs my head.


   "Ouch…." I looked around to see who was shouting my name and throwing pebbles at me.


I found Sloane, waving and gesturing for me to come back soon. I let out a long sigh. How long have I been outside? Since then, I've been sleeping under this shady tree, reading a book and writing a diary on my iPad to remember what I do every day.


I got up from where I was and walked over to Sloane—who was already breathing heavily. A black-haired Korean-American girl named Sloane Kim, my friend since our freshman year at Jordan High, with Lucy too. We met during student orientation and were looking for the right extracurricular. We happened to have a lot in common.
