Mandy's Diary Today
As I spent the morning breathing in the fresh morning air, I heard the voice of Tracy, one of the maids here, making me turn my head back to face her.
"Yesterday, when I took your dog and cat to a pet salon, they gave me a paper bill for the monthly grooming payment, ma'am."
"Just put it on the table," I said, giving her a small smile.
Tracy's eyeballs glanced at me, making me frown at the sight. "What's wrong with your arm, ma'am?"
I looked down at my arm and saw a faint bruise there. "Oh… this… it doesn't matter." I turned my attention to Tracy who seemed to disagree with my answer. "Come on, just do your job."
Nodding and bowing respectfully, Tracy walked away from me. I followed behind her to return to the room. I wanted to ask what Justin did that night to come home drunk. He's never done that in all his life with me. It's like a betrayal that I can't accept. He broke his promise. It even hurt me. That's not him.
