Ailetta's words came out lighthearted, almost teasing. It was difficult to tell whether there was sincerity beneath them, but there was no mistaking the satisfaction in her gaze. If she was going to share Noah, then Arachne needed to surpass who she used to be. Weakness had no place beside him.
As Arachne adjusted her approach, Ailetta did the same.
Two pairs of eyes glowed from her shadow as the forms of Nightmare and her ice troll, Hubris, emerged from under her.
The tension picked up. And just when they were about to start what would be the final round, Arachne suddenly lost her spirit to fight.

The statement felt as if it came out of nowhere. Even Ailetta felt that she was mishearing things.
