Going up the square, there are a few not-so-high steps, with the government building in the center, and the police station on the government's left side.
Where they were headed was precisely the police station.
At the steps leading to the police station entrance, Luna suddenly stopped, turned sideways, and nodded at Galen Collins behind her, saying, "You lead the way."
Throughout the way, she'd been walking ahead, while Galen maintained a distance, following behind her. At her walking pace, Galen could easily have walked ahead.
"Alright." Galen seemed lost in thought due to something, only snapping out of it when speaking.
The two exchanged a glance, then quickly looked away.
Their current relationship was awkward, and their feelings were somewhat delicate.
She had considered muddling through and accepting Galen's commitment, but she didn't want to wrong herself, thinking that marrying someone who doesn't love you equals living in hell.
