Hong Linxiu urgently said:
"Senior, this is the situation: back in the day, my sister and I did have parents, but they were assassinated by the people from the Cloud Descending Sect, so we harbor deep hatred towards them."
"It just so happens that my talent is quite good, so I harbored this hatred since I was little and entered a sect to begin my cultivation."
"Later, I finally managed to come to this city, and even joined Star Observatory. After joining Star Observatory, I climbed up step by step to finally reach my current position."
There is no doubt about what Hong Linxiu said: this is exactly the case. After his parents were killed by the Cloud Descending Sect, he certainly wanted to completely destroy them, but he was weak, and it was impossible to annihilate the Cloud Descending Sect from the outside. So, he chose to join them and decay them from within.
