Nancy Sutton came to the hospital only to find that her two children were nowhere to be found; only Liam Quincy was there.
She immediately approached Liam Quincy and directly started questioning, "Liam Quincy, where did your mother take my two children?"
Liam Quincy was completely bewildered. He had been in the hospital all along, without leaving, and the two children had even called him earlier, so how could they have been taken away by his mother?
He felt that something seemed off about the situation and didn't know what had happened, so he instinctively asked Nancy Sutton.
"Nancy Sutton, what are you talking about? The two children haven't come here. Are you saying my mom took them?"
Seeing Liam Quincy's puzzled expression, Nancy Sutton knew he wasn't lying. She immediately burst into tears, feeling truly aggrieved.
Clearly, it wasn't her doing, but they blamed her, and now her mother-in-law had taken the two children away. She felt she had nothing left.
