Sean and Liam watched as Nancy scolded the two kids. He didn't intervene, as it was a matter between mother and children. If he stepped in to protect the kids, it wouldn't be good for them, and it would also undermine Nancy's authority.
Bianca quietly sipped her water, still feeling a bit resentful inside. But she knew she had to compromise under her mom's sternness.
After a moment of tension, Liam couldn't stand it any longer and decided to change the subject.
"Alright, alright, we've rested enough. Let's go outside and take a look. What's the next ride you guys want to go on?"
Mason knew that Bianca was still upset, so he quickly bounced over to his dad's side and said, "How about we go on the Ferris wheel next? How about we all go on the Ferris wheel together?"
His dad had already spoken up, and he needed to cheer up his twin brother. He couldn't just let him sulk, as that's not something he wanted to see.
