After the three finished their meal, Aaron Kendrick secretly went to pay the bill under the pretense of going to the restroom.
When Sean called the waiter to settle the bill, the waiter was somewhat puzzled and said.
"That gentleman has already paid the bill."
Nancy Sutton and Sean both froze in place, exchanged glances, and told the waiter to leave.
Aaron Kendrick originally used the restroom as an excuse, and soon returned to the private room. Seeing Nancy and Sean waiting for him, he smiled.
"What's up with you guys?"
Sean was the first to speak.
"Thank you, Mr. Kendrick, for the meal. If there's a next time, we'll treat you."
Nancy stood by, listening to Sean's words, a bit speechless. Why are they talking about the next meal already?
Aaron Kendrick seemed rather pleased.
"I intended to treat you guys for this meal. If there really is another meal, that would be great."
