Aaron Kendrick was casually chatting with Nancy Sutton, but unfortunately, Nancy was a bit aloof, yet Aaron didn't seem to notice and continued talking enthusiastically.
Suddenly, Nancy asked.
"Why did you decide to return home?"
Aaron held the steering wheel with both hands, smiled, and jokingly answered.
"Maybe I couldn't get used to the food abroad, it's better here."
"I just returned not long ago too. When I came back, I had already decided that I wanted to be the best programmer."
"Otherwise, I'd have to go home and inherit the family estate; everyone at home is pressuring me."
The car suddenly arrived at a traffic light. As Aaron said this, he turned to Nancy with a slight smile on his lips.
Nancy felt a bit awkward, but didn't show it on her face, returning a slight smile, yet inexplicably feeling Aaron was showing off.
It seemed Aaron was flaunting his family background.
Nancy wondered if she was being too sensitive.
