Kaito stood there for a while longer than necessary and then sat down across from him.
After contemplating for a long time, he finally mustered up the courage to ask, "Do you remember what happened?"
Yuzu didn't answer immediately.
His fingers tightened slightly around the cup, "…Yeah."
Kaito nodded and paused once again before carefully enquiring, "Do you know… what happened to Akira?"
For a second there, Yuzu's grip faltered. Completely caught off guard, his breath shook as he spoke, "I just remember…"
"…being able to move again."
Kaito frowned slightly. "Hmm?"
Yuzu finally looked up, and this time, there was no hesitation in his eyes.
"It was awful." His eyes glistened, "I could see everything. Hear everything. But it wasn't me."
His fingers around the cup tightened once again.
"I tried to move. Even just… a finger." He shook his head as he continued, "He didn't let me. I had no control over my own body."
Suddenly, his grip around the cup loosened.
