"So it really was Asahi…?" Akira muttered under his breath, the disbelief in his voice barely concealed.
He stood still as he listened to Zaelek recount what little he had managed to uncover within the Void. The fragments of truth felt incomplete, yet disturbingly aligned with everything Akira already suspected.
"We can't be completely sure," Zaelek replied after a pause. "All that was seen… was a man. Nothing more."
