"A mundane auction would be too boring for people of your distinction, so any auction we held would have to be special," Mary said, though no one would have had the guts to call any auction she held as mundane.
"Like this Blade of Eternal Echoes that I have here," Mary said, holding up a projection of a simple blade of grass. "Now the dragons from the Origin realm have been asking us what it would take to sell this thing. But it's not the kind of thing we would just sell. No, an auction sounds so much better, doesn't it?"
As she spoke, a description of the blade appeared in front of all the guests.
"But that blade is too special. That's the kind of thing one saves for a big auction. So then, what about this Black Flower? Eating the flower can cause permanent spirit enhancement even in Immortals and induce a weak enlightenment? That's the kind of stuff that's not so rare that it's unheard of, but definitely rare enough that even you guys would want it, right?"
