Xavier had already packed everything in his suitcase, he looked at Ivy and the workers who were standing before in exception of Davis who was inside the black sports car waiting to drive to the airport
" I'll be in Thailand for one month... I just want some time alone for now. And please, don't say anything to Becca and Bella about their nanny, you all know that they had a chemistry"
" We will be grieving with you Sir...but please take care of yourself, and eat your meals properly" Tessa spoke on behalf of the other workers, Ivy stood idle with watery eyes...she loved Xavier so damn hard and, seeing him travelling just to grieve for a merely unworthy nanny made her feel so broken. She looked at the black pot ( that had Cara's fake ashes ) and spoke
" Is it going to take long squirrel?"
Xavier looked at the workers and was like
" You can all go back inside...I need to talk to Ivy" after like two minutes, Xavier was standing with Ivy outside the huge mansion. He looked at her wet cheeks and hugged her. She sprung her arms around him and sobbed quietly
" Relax squirrel... I'll be back after 1 month" he said while patting her back.
" You know how much I will miss you, I was far away from you for five years Xavier... I can't afford staying away for another one month, please take me with you"
Xavier let go and looked at her eyes without knowing that for each gaze he offers... that's how much her feelings keep growing towards him.
" Ivy... I need some time alone, I'll be back for you don't worry. And by the way, you know that all of my companies are in your hands including my kids so I can't take you with me cause, I have no one else to trust here"
He looked at her tears that kept dripping then took out his handkerchief
" Here" he offered his handkerchief and she took it
" I'll miss you"
" C'mon squirrel... it's not forever"
" Is Everything packed up? You didn't forget anything right?"
" I just need to hit that damn road with my kid( a black sports car) to the airport"
After biding farewell, he got inside his car and Davis took him to the airport. In reality, he wasn't heading to Thailand instead, he was going to The States ( U.S.A - Colorado state) . After reaching at the airport and when Davis left, he took the V.I.P path where he had his private Jet prepared for the 3 of them. As soon as he boarded the majestic jet , he saw Cara who was still unconscious covered by a soft blanket on her seat. He asked
" She is taking too long to wake up isn't she?" He said while seating besides Cara.
" She isn't taking too long...she woke up yesterday and I had to give her another injection of propofol after every five hours"
Xavier eyes popped out after hearing that Cara woke up yesterday
" So she woke up and you didn't bother telling me? "
" What would you have done Mr ? Stay excited and jump all over the house? Is that it?"
" Forget about it! ... let's fasten our seatbelts and wait for the other instructions"
" To hell with those instructions! How can you get inside without a greeting? It wasn't easy for me to get to the airport with a vampire you know?"
" It wasn't that hard! I left the van with you and the doctor's note to certify that she is very sick....so what's the hard part?"
He chuckled
" Fuck you Xavier" he grinned and replied
"No no no ...not with you, you are too old for me"
IN COLORADO STATE ( COLORADO FOREST)( after landing)
Xavier was done texting Ivy that he is safe and sound though he put so many lies in the conversations. He was Seating on the sofa besides Cara's bed. She was tied on the bed and showed signs of regaining her consciousness, she had been drowsy for more than four hours. They went to stay in Colorado forests where nobody could find them. Ms Erica looked at Xavier and spoke
" just give her like five minutes Xavier...she will wake up. She was supposed to pass out for more than five hours I guess so... relax"
He sighed deeply and spoke " how are eyes going to look like?"
" Probably bright crimson red... retractable fangs, have extra senses and she is going to be very superior, but she is still going to be in pain..."
" And why is that?"
" The transformation is painful and it's long lasting....but after the venom consumes every cell of her blood then, there will be no more pain"
" You can give her an ant-pain or whatever to help her"
" There is no analgesic that can work Xavier. The pain feels like being burned alive... No analgesic can work maybe immobilizing her and that's why I tied her body with-"
Before Ms Erica could continue again, Cara's eyes were opened widely and Xavier saw the bright crimson red eyes,she was panting and she was in pain. She kept struggling to move her body from the chains that had embraced her and kept screaming in pain.
" Don't worry it won't last long...and please get for me the red injection in my room." Ms Erica ordered while Cara kept struggling to remove the chains that had embraced her body and continued screaming in pain.
