Chen Chen..?" Weicheng called again. But there was no reply.
"Are you alright? If you won't reply, I am coming in.." Saying this, Gu Weicheng opened the door.
Inside David and Xiaochen looked at each other and then at the door handle which was about to open.
Weicheng came inside and he froze the moment he saw the scene inside.
"You…?" His voice was heavy.
"Bro..Brother, why are you here, do you need something…?" Xiaochen forced a smile.
"What is this..?" Weicheng's eyebrows tightened.
"Wha…What brother..?" Xiaochen was trying hard to hide his nervousness and pinched the corner of his shirt.
Weicheng looked at Xiaochen who was standing near the window. He walked towards Xiaochen and frowned. Then he raised his right hand. Xiaochen tensed up and closed his eyes as if he was ready for anything. But what he felt was a hand slowly landing on his head.
"Why is your hair so wet..?" Weicheng asked in a serious manner.
"Hahh…?" Xiaochen tilted his head with confusion and realized something and his tense body relaxed.
'phew.." He sighed internally, maintained his composure and said,
"I…I just took my bath, I was about to dry it,." Xiaochen walked towards the table and took the hair dryer, then showed it to Weicheng.
"Give it to me.." Weicheng stretched his hands.
"I will dry it for you.."
Weicheng was about to take the hair dryer but Xiaochen took a step back and said,
"Noo…"
Weicheng was surprised. Xiaochen never resisted this kind of help from him, instead he looked extremely happy when Weicheng pampers him like this and is especially clingy towards him. So, in normal cases Xiaochen will never say 'no' to him.
Weicheng looked in amazement
"You don't want me to dry your hair..?" He asked curiously.
"And why do you look so nervous? I was just asking for the dryer. You are behaving like someone who was caught doing a crime."
Suddenly Weicheng looked at Xiaochen suspiciously.
"Or did you do something wrong..?"

Xiaochen's neck was cold.

"Okay then, dry your hair well. I will ask Bai Zen to bring you some sandwiches." Weicheng shuffled Xiaochen's hair and turned to leave.
Xiaochen sighed deeply in relief but his body tensed again when Weicheng, who was about to leave, paused his footsteps and turned his head with a frown.
He walked past Xiaochen, whose whole body was stiff, and stood in front of the window. Xiaochen's heartbeat accelerated.
Weicheng stood in front of the window and moved the curtain.
A water drop slowly slid from Xiaochen's head and reached his chin, it stayed there for a moment then slid down and fell on the floor. The room was so silent that even the voice of the water droplet's falling could be heard.
Weicheng looked at the open window and frowned. A cold wind came through it and the room temperature decreased.
THUD
With a sound he closed the window.
"It's cold outside. You will catch a cold if you don't shut the window. Especially after taking a bath." Weicheng said as he walked towards the table and took the remote of the AC and increased the temperature level.
"And don't decrease the temperature, Okay..?"
He looked at his little brother who looked so stunned to speak..
"Okay?!" He repeated his words.
"Ye.. Yes." Xiaochen replied mechanically.
Weicheng put the remote back, patted Xiaochen's shoulder and walked out of the room.
Xiaochen who finally regained his senses, walked towards the door and gently closed it.
"Pheww…" He put his hand on his chest in relief.
"Scared..?" Xiaochen flinched as he heard a voice so close to his ears.
"What are you doing…" Xiaochen took two steps back. He hid ears with his hand and looked warily at David.
David shrugged and leaned on the wall.
"I didn't know the mighty second young master of Gu group is so scared of his brother." He said with a mischievous look.
Xiaochen whose ears are tinted with red hui, looked at David with a fierce expression and said angrily,
"Hmph…Says the person, who hid under the bed because of my brother.."
David's smile cracked.
"Ahem…Well It's not that I am scared of your brother or anything. If anything, it's your brother who is scared of me. You don't know, he won't even dare to look at me in my eyes if he saw me." He showed a smug smile.
"And I hid because, if it's out that an alpha stayed in omegas room while the Omega was bathing, it will tarnish the omega's reputation. And especially if it's an alpha as handsome as me. Okay..? So I was just protecting you.." He said shamelessly with a smug look.
"Oh.." Xiaochen raised his eyebrows in amazement thinking how someone can be this shameless. And his expression clearly showed that he didn't believe a single nonsense that David just said.
"Ahem.." David who tried hard to avoid his embarrassment said.
"Then I am going then. I don't want to die… I mean, I don't want to be late for the meeting. Bye bye.." saying this, David opened the window and escaped….No No…. left the room.
Xiaochen, who saw this scene, shook his head with a helpless smile on lips and walked towards the window which was opened again by a thief.
Just when he was about to close it, a hand stopped his action and a swift kiss landed on his cheek.
"Don't forget to miss me, my sweetheart.." Saying this David once again disappeared. This time really.. disappeared.
It took Xiaochen a few moments to realise what just happened. His whole face turned red as he put his hand on the cheek, which is still warm from the kiss.
"Pervert.."
Saying this he shut the window swiftly and crouched on the ground and hid his face in between his knees. If not for his extremely red ears, anyone who saw this scene may think he was crying.

David's face was brimming with a smile.. When he entered the office room he was humming a romantic song and bit his shirt collar with a shy smile. But suddenly his smile froze and his whole body felt a chilling sensation.
"Oops.." Cold sweat began to form on his face. His face turned pale. And he slowly steadied himself. Stood in attention like a soldier.
Slowly and steadily he walked forward. But his movements were so mechanical just like a robot. Each step took at least half a minute because of piercing eyes on his body. He felt like a prey who is under the gaze of a fierce predictor whom he can't escape from
.
After God knew how many minutes later he stood in front of the couch and sat alongside Sam. He sat so close to sam that his half a body was hidden behind Sam and because of it even Sam felt cold air circulating around which made him sit straight as he clenched his teeth
"Cousins, if you want to die, just die yourself. Why are you dragging me in this shura field." Sam said in an extremely low voice.
David didn't utter a single word. And looked down on the carpet, as if it had become an extremely beautiful entity and needed to be studied for a long time.
Mitchell on the other side crossed his hand on his chest and sat on a single person couch. He put one leg over another and looked at David as if he was looking at a dead person. Then his gaze landed on Weicheng Who sat on the main Chair with his eyes still looming on David. His face showed extreme confusion as if he can't understand why his Boss is still keeping David alive.
"What's the result?"
A voice broke him away from his thoughts and he looked at Weicheng.
After a moment of pause he answered immediately as he knew what Weicheng was referring to.
"I did a deep research on the matter of the new omega who appeared with Lee Feng. And it turns out he is from the Jiang family." Mitchell.
"Jiang..?" Weicheng raised his eyebrows.
"Is it the same Jiang Family we are familiar with..?" David who was shivering a moment ago suddenly sat straight and looked at Mitchell.
Mitchell glanced at David and nodded his head with acknowledgement.
Seeing this Sam turned towards his cousin who was emitting intense killing intent and sighed. He clearly knew how the Jiang Family and Wilson family have grudges written in blood.
"So it's them." Weicheng said in a deep voice.
"Boss, should we take immediate action against them.?" Mitchell looked at Weicheng.
"No." He immediately got the answer from Weicheng.
"After my rise, they were hiding like a rat in the gutter. They were so silent, I thought they were dead. Suddenly someone from that family popped up here. Isn't it really interesting.?" Weicheng said with a smile which didn't reach his eyes.
"You should have eradicated them." This time it was David who looked at Weicheng.
"I just can't understand why you are still keeping them alive. Because obviously that omega from the Jiang Family has a hand in.." David didn't complete his words but all other three got what he meant.
"You think we didn't try." Mitchell said coldly. He looked at David whose face was filled with shock.
"Every time, we were so close to destroying them but then somehow they escaped just like an eel."
"Now that I think, isn't it the same route?" Sam who was silent till now said as he got an epiphany.
"The Jiang Family escaped our supervision just like how the culprit of Boss's family escaped.
Even when I tried to find dirt on them, I couldn't find a single piece of evidence." Sam clenched his fist.
"At that time, I thought they were good at hiding. Now that I think about it, it's not that simple."
David and Mitchell glanced at each other and then turned towards Weicheng.
Weicheng looked towards the window. On the other side stood a small tree where a bird created a nest, in that nest newly hatched birds were crying for food. Outside the nest stood two birds each trying to feed their children. A memory flashed in his mind but before could grasp it, it disappeared. Chill eroded in his eyes. He turned towards Mitchell.
"Contact them." He said in a deep voice. The other three looked in surprise and Mitchell's face suddenly lit up.
'I thought, after returning, he wouldn't contact them anymore.'
David frowned as he looked deeply at Weicheng. Seeing his calm demeanor he inhaled.
'So he is getting serious.'
Weicheng then turned to Sam.
"Go, Dig everything about the Jiang Family. Especially about this omega. His birth till now, I want every detail about him. Don't miss a single thing, even if it's trivial." He paused.
"If you can't find them online, go there and find every detail directly. And make sure to get the details of his encounter with that guy Lee Fang."
Sam's face turned serious.
"Okay Boss."
Weicheng then turned towards Mitchell.
"Inform them to keep a close watch on the Jiang family. And send some of them to keep a close eye towards the Lee Family."
Mitchell nodded his head and stood up and left followed by Sam.
David hesitated for a moment as if he wanted to say something but he stopped himself. He sighed and left soon after. As he reached the gate, he looked towards the direction of Xiaochen's room. He took a deep breath and walked out.
Weicheng who was sitting alone in his room was still looking at the birds outside, which made a heart wrenching cry as they were trying hard to protect their children from the eagle. Though those birds weren't even half as the size of the predator but they still fought hard to protect their kin. Weicheng stood up from his seat. His face was emotionless.
"He, Lee and Jiang Family. Those who touched what is mine don't need to stay in this world." A deep Killing intent emitted from him. He clenched his fist and then put it inside his pocket and walked out. In the corner of the room a golden line statue shone in the sunlight and its red crystal eyes shimmered more brightly in the sunlight.

Lee Family.
"ALERT ALERT. SYSTEM ALERT" The mechanical voice echoed in the room. But the maids who passed through the room walked past as if she didn't hear anything. A silhouette walked towards the door and closed it.
"What happened..?" The white heired omega looked at the air where a red screen was floating in the air.
"HIGH ALERT HOST. PLEASE ACCEPT THE EMERGENCY QUEST" , the system said.

Finally updating the chapter. This period was so hectic and I thought I would have to wait for a while to start writing again. But hopefully, even in this period.
