From MC's Perspective:
We reached the city exit. After walking out, I decided to leave with Lord Erwin. My gaze fell on Young Master Hale. The young master was terrified; he had no one left to help him now.
Swoosh!
A second later, a few more figures appeared, dragging someone along. The person was none other than Elder Abel.
He looked dishevelled, and his eyes were dull. His appearance made it clear that he had lost the fight.
He was so lost in despair that he wasn't even looking at Young Master Hale. Before coming here, they had imagined success and celebration.
But the ending was not in their favor. Someone had broken their plan.
They didn't know that the person responsible was not the famous Forbidden Wizard Erwin, but the recently risen talented wizard of the Silver Tower, Vincent Carey.
At this time, my gaze shifted back and forth between the two of them. To be honest, I needed to thank them.
