My eyes widened. Ew!
"If there is any other creature as shameless as you, they'd be pale in comparison next to you."
"I take that as a compliment, you know!?" Cyrus was an expert at getting on people's nerves!
"Well um..." Gena's fingers played with each other. And that look on her face! What was she trying to do!?
"Can I...Can I um...kiss you instead?"
Cyrus burst out laughing! I was stunned!
"How low have you fallen, Gena—!?"
"HE IS VERY HANDSOME, IT IS NOT MY FAULT! HE IS THE CYRUS!"
"Ugh...why am I even here? As you said, Gena. We should keep moving. Time is a resource now. And my lips, too." I threw a glare at Cyrus. He only smirked...!
"I hope the vertical lips aren't a resource—OOMPH!!"
Now we had two boys to carry on our backs.

Gena put Akira and his gun inside the 4D dimension purse. I don't know the official name, hence I'll name it the Gobbler.
I dragged Cyrus by his foot, a thick dried leaf under him.
For a man that looks slender enough, he weighed a ton! My arm felt like I was dragging an elephant!
"Hayabusa Village. Central Pangea. We're here, Roxy..."
I sighed internally. The village gates flooded open as though they knew someone was coming. I looked behind me. A huge, Trojan style bull sculpture made of wood shadowed behind us.
It didn't stop rolling. In fact, we had to move voluntarily or get crushed until 4-meter tall stone wheels.
"And I oop—"
I forgot to drag Cyrus with me!
Gena almost screamed but the wheel had already...rolled past him.
Tons of stone just rolled all over him...Cyrus didn't even wake up!
"Did he just..." gazing from between her fingers, Gena looked at this ridiculous, unexplainable, unpredictable human being.
Cyrus just rolled over and slept on his side, noises of slumber soon returning!
"Wow."
Well, someone was approaching us from the village. Some people.
A blinded old man with long white beard and a cane to support him, three woman behind him, covered in leather and kept warm. Although their shoulders and legs stayed exposed.
"Hayabusa welcomes you...*cough!"
"Oh...this is their leader, Elder Chang. He's 144 years old." Gena read from her mission tablet.
"I feel four of you here," he said. My eyebrow raised naturally.
"But we're only three." I tested.
"He he he..." he chuckled. His lungs sounded like they were crumpling like paper.
"The one that you are hiding...he is awake..." said the blind old man.
"Gena...does the 4D purse have...air?"
"OH SHI—!"
Gena pulled Akira out like paper! And the first thing he screamed was,
"SHE'S TRYNNA KILL ME! SHE'S TRYNNA CHOKE ME TO DEATH—AHHH!!"
To which, the other sleeping man responded,
"Ngn...shut up! Lemme sleep!"
"Um...I'd leave these two here. Can we have a place to stay, old man?"
"Old man? Well, come on in. We accept all kind of help. Rude or not, you shall be devoured by the Resident Evil of our village anyway. He he he..."
Resident Evil? Wasn't that an ancient TV show? Wow, how old is this guy?
Gena and I took a room when someone knocked on the wooden door softly. Opening it, I looked down to see a woman sitting on her feet, whatever that pose was.
"The village's safe side has many water springs, madams. If you'd like, I can take you there once you wear these clothes!" She said with precise amusement.
"Well..." I was unsure, but Gena burst from behind me,
"Does it heal wounds!?"
"All hot springs in this mountain and valley do, madame!" Wow. Hot springs healing. I've been to a few but not in Hayabusa.
Gena and myself made way into the hot springs. It was a serene hill climb by the mossy, fragrant stairs. It was Japanese for most of the culture, even though it was on the mainland. I could think of them as settlers from Japan. Akira would love waking up in his home culture in Hayabusa!
"Wait," my eyes squinted to look at the figure floating in our designated hot spring. Beyond the bush, as we walked closer in towels barely wrapped around our boobs, the shameless man turned around. I groaned so loud.
"UGHHH DID YOU HAVE TO WAKE UP!?" Cyrus turned around.
And oh my Satan...
I almkst gasped.
His wide back filled with countless scars and roughness harbored all the manliness that was deficient in the society. His arms, as thick as my thighs, held muscles of density I couldn't even describe.
Bottom line? I wanted him to choke me.
"Ahem...you're not incited here. It's a girls only pool."
"Aww, come awnn!" His weird accent came out. His pale, perfect skin glistened against the steam that engulfed around him. I gulped, hard, again.
"You should get lost. I don't have the patience to deal with you today." I said, opening my towel to leave it by the rim of the Spring. It was a big, big mistake.
"You're awakening little Rus, Roxy."
I was malfunctioning.
"I-I don't have a problem, Roxy.. Besides, he can protect us naked if there are a-any Shifters out here..." poor Gena—stammering on every word like she was on her death bed.
"Well, it's super evident that both of you wanna see me naked." Cyrus smirked. I rolled my eyes, but who was I kidding? He was damn right!
Cyrus swimmed towards us, held his hand out like a gentleman. I tried my best not to look beneath his waist, covered by the spring water. But I...failed.
Cyrus helped Gena get into the pool. However, she slipped on her foot and splashed into him!
"Hot! Hot!" She yelped.
"Yes, I know I'm hot!"
WHAT AN IDIOT!
Gena froze in his lap. And that...did something to me.
They shared a moment where they looked like they were lost. In each other's eyes. And yes, I was jealous enough to cut the sentence in half.
Jealousy was a sin I related to the most. It was irrational at times, but mostly, rational. Breathing stiffly, I unhooked the towel against itself, opened it, and let it drop.
The movement of my towel got their attention from their periphery.
Cyrus's expression was worth a quadrillion dollars.
Gena...fainted.
