Ace finally woke up after an hour to see Ken partying with the others drinking his heart out.
He was a little confused since he was pissed that he said he wanted to hide behind whitebeard while causing trouble.
Marco saw him and walk towards him to explain everything that happened.
" He's that strong? " Ace asked shocked.
" I had a talk with whitebeard, and he said even if he was in his prime and didn't hold his devil fruit back he would still have problems winning. " Marco said shocking Ace even more.
" sigh, I know. I felt like that when he first told me too. I guess it's good that he'll join us and not be against us huh? " Marco said as he left.
Ace sighed and walked to Ken to apologize and congratulate him joining. Not long after having a conversation Ace and Ken were drinking and laughing.
For the next 6 months All Ken did was train and party/talk with the crew as he got closer with them. Even tho Ken had the best of swordsmanship and Haki his body still wasn't strong normally so he gave himself the hardest most fucked up training method ever since he can heal and his stamina is pretty much infinite. In 6 months he now matches Zoro in Wano.
Some people tried to match him but gave up not even 5 minutes in, that's how crazy his workout was. The only one who tried matching was Ace but he ended up just creating his own training method. But he's still shocked on how Ken can even do this workout without stopping for a break at all.
Satisfied with his physical strength he got ready for to finally start his come up.
He asked for leave from whitebeard which he accepted. He got a small boat similar to the one Ace used but a little bigger to hold more stuff. The very first thing Ken did was destroy a marine base he randomly found killing everyone in 1 slash. Mainly stabbing hearts while sometimes cutting off heads. After that he started robbing a bunch of pirates and destroyed one more marine base throughout the month before coming back to the whitebeard ship with his Boat filled with pure gold and treasure. His bounty was now 670Million since he without knowing killed a random 500 million bounty unknown trash. * Plot *
After coming back they threw a party for his high bounty as He caught up with Ace and Marco.
Ace spoke to Ken and told him about Blackbeard and some of his past. Ken just copied Robins story but not exactly hers, just giving him the " I hate the marines " vibe. I'm pretty sure Robin isn't the only one with the same backstory. Ken was pretty close to Ace and knows he's honest and probably one of the purest in one piece. Might save him honestly, but only if he asks me to.
For the next 5 months all Ken did was train, get his bounty up, and hang with the crew. Ken spoke with whitebeard and suggested gaining a favor from shanks to use in the future. He managed to do it with a meetup he had with shanks.
In December Ace left and started his journey to find black beard, also Kens bounty is now 1.7B and marines and pirates have now been actively seeking him out.
* Btw shanks will stay a good guy in this fanfic but personally I think if shanks was a manipulator that would be bad ass. Tho if I made him a manipulator it wouldn't work oh well good guy shanks for the win. Also Ace is stronger but will still lose obviously for plot convenience. *
Also Ken got his tattoo on the back of his hand and he borrowed * stole * Rogers sword " Ace ". He found it because of luck, and plot armor.

Anyways the Sword is Op as fuck second to Mihawks sword according to google and fans and stuff.
Anyways this is now his sword.
He found it after Ace left which once the World government saw him with it gave him a higher bounty 2.4B. Also luffy has already started his journey as Ken saw his first bounty. So he should be on his way to the grand line or so.
Right now Ken is just floating around and he's infecting of Mihawk both of their little " boats/ship " stopped at the same time.
They both stood up at the same time and drew their swords.
" Ready? " Mihawk asked.
" Let's dance. " Ken replied as they both sent out a Haki slash canceling each other out.
Mihawks eyebrow raised as he was surprised at this outcome, he gave it thought about this fight that could possibly be a death battle.
He then remembered he doesn't want to die yet till he fights that green haired kid again.
" Hm, is it possible for us to just move on from this fight? " Mihawk asked as he put his sword back.
" Hm? You wanna get some drinks instead? " Ken asked putting his sword away too.
" We can. I'll pay as thanks. " Mihawk said as he sat back down.
" Alright, lead the way boss. "
And they went to have a good time at a bar.
" How old are you? " Mihawk asked.
" 19, shocked? " Ken asked while drinking.
' Wtf? ' Mihawk thought.
" Kids these days are weird. " Mihawk said which made Ken laugh.
" New gen is crazy, soon you'll lose your spot as the strongest swordsman. I suggest to start training again, saying you're at your peak and can't get stronger is a lie. Power is everywhere, work out till you break yourself. If you're really at your peak, get a fruit to compliment your swordsmanship. If you're that scared of drowning from a fruit get one that has the ability to fly and make you physically stronger. A fruit will give you more potential, but if you're fine with how you are and just want a good battle soon. Then you'll definitely get one, good luck with whatever you want to do. " Ken said as he finished his drink and left leaving Mihawk to think about it.
