"Should I just practice with my Ice Magic?" Yuki asked herself while Chisato listened intently next to her, as she sat patiently, but after hearing her words about not being able to practice her Alchemy, she was excited because she could help her if she wanted to practice with her Ice Manipulation.
"How about if I help you with that, Master? I'm sure that I can provide some insights, because even if I'm just a very young Sword Soul, I have a full grasp of knowledge of all Elements because of my Hydra Bloodline, alongside the help of my Fairy Bloodline as well." Chisato said proudly as she showed Yuki her prowess over the Ice Magic, and seeing it in person, Yuki was somewhat shocked to see it because Chisato just suddenly slashed her arm, causing her pale white skin to turn red from the blood immediately.
This told one thing to Yuki: Chisato is going to perform healing Magic using her Ice Magic, which is unheard of because Ice itself only indirectly heals injuries, but healing it is almost impossible. But it just shows that in the world of Fantasy and Magic, Science won't play as much role as it had when everything was normal.
"What the actual fuck… she's actually healing the wound with Ice Magic… how the fuck does that make any sense?" Yuki asked herself as she watched how not only the blood froze in the best medical way. It's freezing to stop the bleeding, but also not cold enough to damage any nerves or tissue.
Finally, under Yuki's gaze, she saw how the Ice started melting away, assuming that it was done, but before she could say anything, it did something more. Suddenly, at an alarming rate, the open wound started closing, and not even two seconds had passed when it was fully closed, as if it had never been there to begin with.
"See, Master? Ice Magic can actually be used for a lot of things, not just the primary of Offensive and Defensive. It can also do a supporting type of Magic, though only heal. I don't know if an Ice Magic can actually do some buffs or anything similar to that." Chisato explained with a happy smile on her face as she looked at Yuki, who seemed to be in a daze but was actually already trying to comprehend the Magic that she used.
Seeing it, she just decided to stay quiet and watch how Yuki comprehends and try to understand what she did. Considering how talented she is, she is confident that with only one look, she'll already have a grasp and understanding of the Ice Healing Magic she performed.
Without wasting anytime, Chisato once again slashed her arm and showed it to Yuki for her to try to Ice Healing Magic on her, but when Yuki saw this, she glanced at Chisato with a questioning look, seeing how she slashed herself. It was unexpected because she was already planning on using a random animal that she found and injuring it to perform the healing magic that she just learned.
"You… You shouldn't have done that when I could have just gotten an animal from somewhere here. Don't do that again, now heal your injury on your own while I get a pig or something." Yuki said with a cold but somewhat soft face as she flicked Chisato's forehead with some force to make her learn that she shouldn't do something like that again.
Chisato held her forehead with a small whine as she looked at Yuki with a confused look, but nonetheless, she healed her arm. For some reason, there was some warmth in her heart that she couldn't explain, but it didn't feel uncomfortable; instead, it was comfortable and a nice feeling that she didn't know why. This kind of thing only happens when she is around her Master, Yuki. It doesn't happen to anyone, even to Kurokami and Fumiko, who are both kinder and warmer than Yuki could ever be.
Even if those two are so kind to her, even sneaking snacks just for her to enjoy, and even though she is very grateful and happy for all of them, and even though she feels love from both of them, even to the Princess, it's just not like what she receives from her Master. Even if she could consider it as a cold love from others, for her, it was much more than that.
"But you're literally the same, Master… I even think that I learned it from you." Chisato murmured with puffed cheeks, but Yuki just chose to ignore her as she brought a live animal back and injured it severely, making sure it didn't die.
From there, Yuki began copying what Chisato just showed her, using the same Ice Magic to heal the wound that she inflicted, but even after a whole day passed, she only managed to heal a small portion of it. For the first time in years, she is actually struggling to grasp what Chisato showed her. Even if she's considered the best Doctor back on Earth, this time, she was having a harder time understanding the healing magic that she watched, even if Chisto repeated the process again and again for her.
"You're already doing an amazing job, Master. Most people would even take a hundred years just to comprehend the healing Magic that I just performed, but the fact that you did it in mere hours is amazing, and even more amazingly is how you can grasp it already and heal something even if it's only a small wound." Chisato said with a genuine smile, and hearing it, Yuki felt a little better.
She was disappointed at herself for not doing it perfectly, even after a few attempts, though it was mostly just because of her own ego and pride, as she's not used to this kind of thing, where it takes her a long time, and she tries just to learn something.
"Hmmm… It's fine, just a little disappointed, but I don't care about it anymore. Anyways, I think that's enough practicing and training for now. Do you know if there's something that I could do to finish this quickly? I already want to get out of here since it's more boring than I thought." Yuki said as she stood up from the grass and stretched her body, as she couldn't wait to get out of here already.
"Unfortunately, we can't leave here that easily, Master. Mystic Realm usually lasts for a few months, sometimes even years. But there is a way, but it's very rare and hard to do, and to do that, you simply have to beat the challenge here in the Mystic Realm, which every Mystic Realm has, but it's hidden to the point that not even the organizer knows it." Chisato explained to Yuki.
"Is that so… Well, that's going to be a fucking problem for them. Though I am curious… How do you know all of this when you just recently awakened as a Spirit Weapon?" Yuki asked as she had been curious about that for a long time now; she just couldn't bring it up, not until now.
"I can't give you a straight answer for that, Master. Because I also don't know, but after I awoke as a whole spirit and controlled the other two spirits, it just feels like I know most about the world; it's like I have been born with all of this knowledge." Chisato answered with an awkward smile because she really didn't have an answer for Yuki's question, as it felt for her that she just knew everything from the start.
"It's fine, I'm not really pressuring you or being suspicious, just curiosity, but since you know it, then do you have any guess on what could be the hidden challenge? Is it something like what I did earlier, like with me going into another world as a baby?" Yuki asked as she began walking with Chisato walking beside her.
Chisato began to ponder as she thought of the best answer that she could give to Yuki, as there are a lot of possibilities for a Mystic Realm to end quickly, and as she was thinking, a thought popped into her head.
"For this Mystic Realm, I don't think it's going to be something like that, Master. Because what you did is what most Mystic Realm uses as a hidden challenge to finish, because most of them are impossible to finish. And what you did is already one of those things that most people would take years to even crack something at that kind of test/challenge, but you did it in just a few minutes. So I doubt it… As for the real hidden challenge, I'm guessing you have to defeat the maker of the Mystic Realm itself; that's probably it, and if I have to guess again, it's probably the old man that we saw."
