Everyone suddenly took a step back in fright, as none of them expected the woman in front of them to be actually the one who managed to beat the entire Legend Ranking in one moment. Even if they already guessed that she was an Adventurer, none of them would expect that she would be this strong and famous. Because of this, they have no choice but to back away as they simply don't stand a chance against her. Even if they were confident of killing her right now with all of them attacking her, it's not going to be a wise move.
The Guild and Sect are completely different factions in Nightingale; some would say that they have the same power, but in reality, it's far from that. The Guild has stronger powers in Nightingale as more people rely on them when they need something because most of the requests from the Sects are made within their own members, and there are hardly any request that comes from outside.
But if there is one thing that they are better than the Guilds it is that they can handle much harder requests from people. They are the Faction that people would go to, especially the Nobles, if they want to do something bigger and harder requests, as Guilds don't have the numbers to do so.
"We apologize, Lady Yuki, for my sect members' rashness., I hope that you can give me face and forgive them." The Sect Leader walked up calmly and bowed his head towards Yuki, but he was simply ignored by Yuki, who just took out a cigarette and smoked, and when Chisato saw this, she merely waved her hand as a sign for all of them to leave.
Seeing this, all of the people rushed to leave except for the Astral Epsilon Sect, who remained for a few more seconds before apologizing to ask for forgiveness. Still, when Yuki ignored them, they finally left with a bitter feeling.
"I'm sorry, Sect Master. If not for my impulsiveness, would not going to be in such a situation. I have disgraced our Sect." The same woman who got in Yuki's way apologized to the Sect Leader as she felt embarrassed about what she did.
"I'm disappointed in you, but like I always say… we can't do anything more as it already happened, just accept it. Just promise me you won't do it in the future, Core Disciple Jinshi. You are our pride as being the most talented Disciple that we have ever had; the future of the Astral Epsilon is in your hands. If you are given the chance, apologize to her properly; it's fine if she doesn't accept it, the important thing is that you tried." The Sect Leader simply sighed as he patted Jinshi's head.
Hajun, the Sect Leader of the Astral Epsilon Sect, was known for being benevolent and kind, as he quickly forgives Jinshi because there was no point in getting mad at her. He was simply glad that no one got seriously injured from the confrontation, other than Grand Elder Xin, who had his arm severed by the servant of Yuki.
"Yes… I will definitely try to apologize to her and never act irrationally again in the future. Thank you for your forgiveness, Sect Master." Jinshi cupped her fist as she bowed her head towards him, and in response, he simply waved his hand as if saying that it was nothing.
"But on a second note… it seems that she really is powerful. I thought that the Melvis Kingdom was simply playing games, but it seems I was wrong. She was really as strong as the rumor says, and even though she didn't attack Grand Elder Xin herself, I can tell she is powerful. Her servant tells us how powerful she was when you got your hand severed by her.I saw that she was not even putting force into it." Hajun said, and everyone also saw this, but when Hajun pointed it out, they found out that he was right.
"So when we get inside, no one messes with her. If we can help her, but don't do it like you're licking someone's ass,ike you're trying on the good side of Lady Yuki. Do it normally and with heart. Now I hope that everyone will learn a lot today in your Exploration of the Mystic Real. Theree are a lot of dangers inside, and I know that you are all competitive, but try as much as possiblenot to bet enemies with one another. Aside from that, have fun and most importantl, stay alive while trying to absorb as much experience as this. That is all, good luck to everyone." Hajun turned to his Sect and smiled before saying a few words of encouragement to them.
Just as he ffinished the organizer of this Event finally showed up to start the Mystic Realm adventure for all.
"Hello everyone! My name is Rei Miyamoto, today I'm going to be the host of our event, or shall I say competition, for today for the Sects. Now, the Goal of this Mystic Realm Adventure is rather simple: whoever conquers it shall be awarded as the winner. But you also know that no one else has done that, so don't set your standard so high; instead, focus on killing as many Beasts and Monsters inside so that you can be the winner." Rei announced himself to everyone before finally starting to say the mechanics and rules.
"I will send all of you a stone that tracks your score. The person with the highest score is the winner. Remember, you can die inside of a Mystic Realm, and if the other person so wishes to, he/she can take your life to take your points, so be wary of that. The prize for the Sect will be announced a week from now, as that is how long this Mystic Realm is going to stay up, and with that, I wish everyone good luck. Let the Mystic Realm open!" Rei yelled out, nd just like that, the time that everyone has been waiting for has finally come.
Everyone immediately rushed inside the Mystic Realm to get the upper hand, but not all people were rushing; some people were taking their time. But the most noticeable one was Yuki, who didn't even move from where she was; she merely stood there and watched how everyone scrambled to get inside the Mystic Realm. Just as some people were about to question her, they saw her open her mouth to ask something about the prizes.
"What can I get if I conquer this Mystic Realm? The only thing that you mentioned is the prizes that you will be giving." Yuki simply asked, and when everyone hheard theywere absolutely shocked, as none expected her to be so arrogant. But even so, Rei still answered with politeness and with a professional tone.
"None of us really knows, even for me. Because the one who made the Mystic Realm is a very mysterious person. He set it so that it will open every 100 years,a nd this has been going on for millennia now, and with all that time passed, no one has managed to conquer it. But it was rumored to say that you will be able to meet the creator of the Mystic Realm and ask him personally for rewards or even a wish of some sort." Rei simply answered and told the truth.
Everyone just agreed with his words as it has always been like t; at, no one has even come close to conquering it because no one actually knows how to conquer the Mystic Real, as there is no information about it. Naturally, people just forget about it or give up because it is useless.
"I see… Well, let's just see if that is going to change or not~"
