Daniel Clarke and a few others exchanged glances with the three people on stage, and suddenly, a crisp round of applause erupted.
With a few leading the way, all the other guests who had come for the birthday, regardless of their true wishes, started clapping along as well.

Looking at the item in his palm, Claire Green's lips curved slightly as she nonchalantly took it.
"Thank you."
No sooner had she spoken than John Sinclair moved aside quickly, looking completely smug with pride.
