Its pitch black almost like the sun never existed, it was as if the void swallowed him whole.
'Its so comfortable, I don't think I've ever felt so good...'
Suddenly little white dots started to appear bringing light into the void, these dots resembled stars.
Crack!
The crack connected some of the dots like constellations. More followed till the whole void was bright.
He put his hands up to it, trying to figure out whats going on.
Boom!
The void broke apart, everything turned bright. it took awhile for his eyes to readjust to the environment.
'Thats an egg!' he thought as he looked where he came out of. The egg shells were black with bits and pieces of silver, and purple. He looked around him and noticed that there were more eggs of varying colors. Light blue, dark blue, red, white, brown, pink, black, and green. He looked at himself. He didn't see his usual human hands but claws, He looked at his back and saw wings and a tail.
'What am I? What in the world is happening!' he thought extremely confused.
He has Ebony horns that are barely visible, he has hint of purple on his wings, while underneath his wings have scales that resemble the stars in the night sky, and silver eyes that resemble the moon.
'The last thing I remember... I was walking through an alley trying to get to my apartment. Now I'm a weird thing with wings.
He looked at his surroundings and found he was in a giant nest. He looked up a noticed he wasn't out in the open, but in a cave.
'I can see really well in here, there's no source of light, yet I can see everything clearly?'
He soon noticed a cave entrance.
'Should I try to leave? I definitely don't want to find out what made this nest.' he started walking to the cave entrance.
He made it to the entrance and started to walk down a tunnel when he heard a loud sound coming closer.
'Whats that sound?'
Boom!
He turned around and saw a giant white scaled creature. 'Its so big!' he thought, unconsciously trembling as he stepped back.
"You finally hatched" her voice boomed. She looked down at him. "And your trying to escape!"
'Such pressure, I cant move!' he looked at her both amazed and afraid.
She reached down and grabbed him and headed back to the nest. "Guess I should keep a closer eye on you" she said putting him down while lying down in the nest to keep the eggs warm.
she used her tail to pull him closer.
"Your a cute little guy" She said smiling
With all the commotion another scaled creature came into the cave. This time it was a giant male with black scales.
"Is everything alright?" he asked her.
"Leader! Yeah everything's fine. The first egg hatched!" she said shoving the hatchling forward.
'He's even bigger than the white one. He's giving off some pressure too.' He tried to back away from him, but the white creature kept nudging him forward.
"Oh so the black egg was the first to hatch?" he said slightly confused. "wasn't it supposed to hatch last or at least be in the middle?" he asked her.
"I haven't thought of that" she said as she looked at the eggs. "Wait the black egg's still here!" she yelled surprised.
"How many eggs are there?" he asked
"there's eight" she looked up surprised. "We only had eight where did this guy come from?"
He bent down a sniffed the hatchling. "No...it can't be." he mumbled "I'm taking him for a bit, I know who he belongs to" He said picking him up and flying out of the cave.
"Um.....Ok have fun I guess..." she watched him fly out extremely confused.
He flew out of the cave, and went to a mountain top that oversees the valley they just came out from.
He put the hatchling down and looked up to the night sky. He breathed fire and made it into a ring shape. It started to warp and a voice came from it.
"What? I'm very busy!" the voice yelled out.
"Is this yours!" He asked picking up the hatchling and putting him in front of the ring of fire."
'Whoa thats cool!' the hatchling thought.
"Yes who else do you think would drop something off without informing you. Take care of him for me. I have many enemies as you know and didn't want them to attack him to get to me." the voice answered back.
"Krios, you could have informed me before dumping him off here! What if I refused!" He said greatly annoyed.
"Falirol, if I had not done it secretly, word would have gotten out that I have another offspring. As you know my other children have died at the hands of my enemy's. Its the price you have to pay if your the King, there are always snakes lying in wait to hurt you." Krios told him with a sad look.
"True" Falirol agreed with a down cast look.
"Take really good care of him. He's not like my other children, I believe he has inherited my power and something else. Anyway I gotta go try you best to keep his identity a secret. Also don't help him figure out his powers once he comes of age. Bye"
The ring of fire slowly dissipated.
'This is a weird dream' the hatchling thought.
"Hahh Your fathers so annoying!" Falirol yelled. "haha thats why I followed him back then and thats why I help him now." he looked towards the stars. "Your doing things I can't even imagine Krios."
He grabbed him with his claws and went straight up. He stopped once he was well above the clouds. "You see this little guy, this is what it means to be a dragon." He said looking at the vast land below.
He cuffed his hand over him so that he wouldn't fall off. And went straight down towards the valley.
'This is awesome! It feels like i'm on a rollercoaster!' he thought greatly amused.
They soon get back to the cave.
"Take extremely good care of him. A good friend of mine needs us to take care of him." he said to the White dragon.
"Yes sir. Also another egg hatched, Its the green one." She said excited.
"Yeah its around the time when all of them hatch, just keep a close eye on them." He said putting the hatchling down next to the green one.
He left the cave.
'This green dragon looks like a cat' He thought greatly amused.
She has olive green scales, with golden eyes that have vertical-slit pupils, and her horns point back.
He walks up next to her and layed down. 'If this is a dream I might as well have fun' he thought. He put his wing over her and fell asleep.
