Yukihime High School, Elffire City.
Saturday, May 29th.
After weeks of careful preparation, the highly anticipated annual Spring Twilight Ball was finally taking place. The student council members arrived early in the morning to handle the final logistical arrangements.
The council—consisting of Aurora Gray, Vivian Darktower, Carolla Wembley, Yuki Umaru, Brenda Blackburn, and Ohori Hanako—had been elected by the student body earlier that year. Now, with summer vacation just a few weeks away, they were tasked with executing one of the school's most prestigious traditions.
The event was hosted in the school's ceremonial gymnasium. While smaller than the main athletic arena, this venue featured elegant architecture that made it far easier to transform into a high-end, sophisticated ballroom.
Dividing the workload efficiently, each of the six girls took charge of a specific task to oversee the final setup before the doors opened for the evening.
