Ezekiel
"Ezekiel! Ezekiel! Ezekiel please stop!" Lucy screamed behind me as she tried to waddle through the garden. The frost that had gathered on the grass crunched under my formal shoes almost making me slip from the speed I was walking desperate to get back to the house.
I didn't even notice that I had landed in the garden fully until Lucy firmly gripped my wrist and pulled me back so I spun around to face her. Her pale cheeks were rosy from the cold and probably the exercise of walking that fast whilst pregnant.
"I didn't ask you to run after me," I snapped as I pulled my hand away from her. Feeling furious she had injected herself into matters that didn't concern her with her fake concern and tears in her eyes. She was just like everyone. All seeking their own happiness and leaving me to fend for myself.
