I knew this was a terrible idea but a desperate man often did desperate things. It was close to midnight and the palace was dead silent. Ma and I had just had dinner then watched a quick show before she went off to bed.
There was no way she could hear me from my room since her room was on the other side of the chambers therefore I knew I was safe. That did not mean however I was safe from the massive drop from my window.
I tried to imagine how Ezekiel did this without even being winded. It was a lot taller than I had thought and the rope I had made from mountain climbing gear did not seem to suffice. I was adventurous but heights had never been my thing.
