"You can make do with sleeping here tonight. The sheets are new; no one has slept in them. If there's nothing else, I'm going to get some rest."

The two waved to each other, and Xia Liang closed his door. After all the day's events, he was quite tired and fell asleep almost instantly after lying down on the bed.
The next morning, Xia Liang was woken by Qingxue knocking on his door. He yawned and stepped out to find that she had already prepared breakfast: mung bean porridge and steamed dumplings. Rubbing his hands together, his appetite surged, and he was about to dig in when Qingxue pouted and shot him a glare, looking incredibly cute.
"Wash up before you eat."
"Yes! Yes!" he reluctantly agreed and went to wash up.
At the dining table, the atmosphere between them was quite pleasant.
