Noel blinked, realizing he was at a disadvantage from the start; he was immersed in nutrient solution. Before he could explore, a door-opening sound came from the entrance.
He immediately closed his eyes, pretending he hadn't woken up yet.

"The subject's heartbeat has recovered, breathing restored, most life signs have returned." The blue metal figure observed the screen.
"Clocking out, we'll return tomorrow." The pink metal figure closed the notebook.
"Hmm." The blue metal figure tilted its head, glancing at the nutrient tank. Inside floated a humanoid form, the body in a transparent wraith state, with only the head appearing more distinct. A blond boy with closed eyes, wearing an expression of utmost serenity.
