What was happening to me?
Why was I staying here, and why was I getting so cozy with Ivan? I didn't lie when I told him I didn't love Ricky, but that didn't mean I needed to be so affectionate with the Alpha. Yet, I couldn't stop myself. Something in my head was pushing me toward him. It was distant, even more so than the imaginary voice acting like a narrator, but so consuming it almost took me over.
I wanted to strip naked and rub my body all over him. I wanted my scent to be everywhere on his body so everyone, male or female, knew he was mine. Ivan said we were soulmates, and I believed him. It felt right, and every cell in my body hummed in pleasure at the thought. I felt safe with him and knew he'd protect us, but that's not the only thing I wanted. His dominance was calling to me, and as he growled and snarled at the others, I felt a desperate need I hadn't felt before.
