There was the sound of the phone ringing earlier. Shikamaru, who was focused on reading a novel by Yusaku Kudo, and not hearing or you can say pretending to not hear anything in the house.

It's been 30 minutes and the ringing is still there. Inevitably Shikamaru walked over to the phone.
"Shikamaru-kun, do you want to go for a walk to see the wild cherry blossoms?" it turned out that the one who had called earlier was Ran.

"What about your detective agency? Is it going well?" Gin's voice came from the cellphone.
"It's all over. As long as I can become famous then the Boss won't give me a mission either, right?" Asked Shikamaru.

Gin feels irritated with Shikamaru who has been getting lazy lately and doesn't have any motivation. Although, Shikamaru's psychological condition is improving but why is the side effect of getting better is that he becomes lazy?!
"How troublesome" said Shikamaru, who didn't know how much he had been talking about today. Good thing Tooru-san will start work tomorrow he thought.
