Sienna's POV
(Two weeks later)
My heart was beating fast.
I stood in front of the mirror, smoothing down my pale blue dress with shaky hands.
My bump was finally starting to show, just a little round curve under the soft fabric. Hyden had insisted I wear something "flowy and goddess-like".
There were balloons everywhere. Blue and pink. Confetti waiting in cannons. Cupcakes with little question marks. Everyone around us was so excited but inside me, it felt like my chest was about to burst.
"You ready?" Hyden came up behind me, wrapping his arms gently around my waist, careful with my bump.
"As I will ever be." I whispered.
He looked at me in the mirror, eyes soft. "Boy or girl. Doesn't matter. As long as you both are safe."
I turned around, resting my forehead against his. "I know."
We stepped outside together.
