Su Mo picked up a bagged sandwich and tossed it to him, and Long Ke immediately devoured it ravenously.
"Where did you guys go?"
Su Mo asked in a lowered voice.
"Where else could we go, to clean up the ruins area."
Long Ke swallowed the sandwich lodged in his mouth, panting.
"Ruins area? Isn't this place a prison? Did you go outside?"
Su Mo listened, looking utterly baffled.
"No, let me put it this way, this prison is built on the foundation of a relic. Later on, something happened, a riot broke out in the prison, and finally, there was a massive explosion, collapsing more than half of the prison. The area we are in now is a newly rebuilt zone, but there's still half of it in a ruined state. The prison's AI has been developing that ruin, but there are areas where machines don't work well, so they need us prisoners to act as laborers. We're called up roughly once every ten days."
Long Ke explained the situation to Su Mo.
