"Haha, I've taken care of you, but that money definitely isn't enough for such lavish spending. You must have done well in these past two years."
Su Mo surveyed Mo Baoke's estate and chuckled as he spoke.
Mo Baoke replied with a flattering smile: "Actually, I just used the money you gave me to pull some strings. I transitioned from the military to a councilman and did some small business. After all, being in the military is too dangerous; one wrong move and you're done."
In truth, after participating in an expedition, Mo Baoke was quite rattled and had been somewhat frightened.
"What kind of small business?"
Su Mo looked at Mo Baoke with some curiosity.
"I won't hide anything from you; I just did a little smuggling of goods to make some living money."
Mo Baoke had no intention of hiding anything from Su Mo and casually revealed his business.
"Hmm, sounds pretty good. How much are you making annually?"
Su Mo asked with a smile.
