Rebecca Quentin said, "I'm worried about you driving back alone..."
"I just called Chester, he's already on his way here." It was Howard Geoffrey speaking, the gloom and danger from earlier had vanished from his face, replaced by concern. Howard had always been calm and composed, but Rebecca Quentin was his bottom line, and anyone who touched that line would see him lose control.
Alice Robinson widened her eyes in shock.
Howard Geoffrey calmly stated, "You must explain things clearly to him now; suspicion won't help your relationship."
Rebecca Quentin nodded, "When Chester arrives, have a good talk about last night, and remember not to argue... speak calmly."
Alice Robinson lightly bit her lip and nodded.
Howard Geoffrey said, "He'll need a little more time to get here, come back with us to Jones' Mansion, let Christine and Becca keep you company and chat with you."
"No need..." Alice Robinson shook her head, insisting, "I'll wait for him here, you guys go back first!"
