Chester's cold eyes narrowed into a line, "I told you, I never question any decision I've made. When I decided to find you, my heart could hold no one else."
Rebecca Quentin finally faced him directly, "What about Alice then?"
"Our matter should not involve her."
"You're scared to bring her up, aren't you?"
Chester turned his back, his cold aura bursting forth, "I know I owe her, but I am clear about my feelings for her."
"No, you aren't clear at all... you're blinded by that darkness from childhood, thinking only I can bring you sunshine, unaware that the light illuminating your life has always been by your side."
"Enough!!"
Chester angrily turned around, "My feelings are not for you to dictate."
Rebecca laughed foolishly, "Now I finally understand why Alice left without waiting for you to wake up, because you are utterly obstinate, even when aware of your mistake, you refuse to admit defeat to yourself... With such a personality, you're destined to be lonely all your life!"
