"Seeing you so happy, does it mean Geoffrey prefers a boy?" Rebecca Quentin teased.
Christine Quinn nodded in response, "We happened to discuss this topic last night..."
Rebecca gently stroked her belly, "I said long ago, it's a mischievous little boy..."
Just as they were talking, Skyler Jones' phone call came in.
Christine quickly made a shushing gesture to Rebecca, then calmly answered the phone, "Hello..."
"Honey, are you done with the check-up?"
Christine replied dejectedly, "Yes."
"Is the baby okay?"
"Yes, the doctor said the baby is very healthy, everything's normal."
"What about you?"
"I'm good too, not affected by the baby."
Skyler breathed a sigh of relief, "I'm glad you and the baby are okay..."
"But honey..." Christine interrupted Skyler, "I asked the doctor about the baby's gender today."
"Hmm?"
"It's a girl."
Skyler paused on the other end of the line, "A daughter is good, I like daughters the most."
Christine playfully blinked, "Really?"
