Rebecca Quentin walked to the bedside and saw Andrew already asleep, his rosy cheeks nestled against Howard Geoffrey's leg, his small hands still hugging Howard Geoffrey's leg.
Rebecca Quentin asked softly, "Is he asleep?"
Howard Geoffrey gently lifted the quilt, carefully got up, and got off the bed.
Only after his body touched the ground did Howard Geoffrey ask Rebecca Quentin with a straight face, "Are you sure he wasn't born to torment people?"
"Huh?"
Before Rebecca Quentin could react, Howard Geoffrey had already grabbed Rebecca Quentin's hand and walked straight out of the children's room.
At the door of the children's room, Howard Geoffrey wrapped his arms around Rebecca Quentin's waist, complaining in a low voice, "Your son is bullying me."
Rebecca Quentin glanced dismissively at someone, "He's bullying you?"
"He wants me to coax him to sleep."
"That means our son is attached to you."
"My time isn't meant to coax him to sleep."
