Howard Geoffrey curled his lips into a mischievous smile and said, "Already know how to please my mom?"
Becca glared at Howard Geoffrey with annoyance, "You're busy with work every day. Do you know your mother isn't in good health?"

"Your mother's back has always been bad... She knows you and Mr. Jones are both very busy and doesn't want to delay your time or make you worry, so she never told you."
Howard Geoffrey's eyes darkened, and he spoke with guilt, "It's my negligence."
Becca hooked her arm around Howard Geoffrey's and comforted him, "It's not your fault. Your mom knows you're filial and intentionally kept it from you..."

"It was..." Becca paused for a second, then changed her tune, "It was when I called your mom, and she mentioned it unintentionally."
