Rebecca Quentin snatched the ultrasound image from Howard Geoffrey's hand, "If it's not nice to look at, then don't look at it. After all, the child has nothing to do with you!!"
Howard Geoffrey looked innocent and said, "How did I offend you again?"
"You said the child is ugly!"
"He indeed... isn't very good-looking!"
Rebecca Quentin became more and more furious, "He's only five months now. What do you expect? The doctor even said his features are very defined and suggested he might look more like you, yet you..."
Realizing she had inadvertently expressed joy that the child might resemble him, Rebecca Quentin immediately shut her mouth tight, a tinge of bitterness welling up inside her.
In fact, it would be bad if the child resembled him at all...
She didn't want to be constantly reminded of him every time she faced the child in the future.
