Holding the report, Rebecca Quentin looked happily at the pile of complex data displayed on it.
Though she couldn't understand it, she inexplicably felt good, and even found the data quite adorable.
Looking down at her visibly swollen belly with joy, Rebecca recalled the doctor's words...
The doctor said her pregnancy was lower, which would be more tiring than usual, but she didn't feel tired at all. She enjoyed the feeling of the child moving inside her, even though it wasn't kicking and punching yet, it brought her immense satisfaction.
At this moment, perhaps too immersed in her own joy, Rebecca failed to notice a tall woman passing by her side.
"Becca—"
It wasn't until a familiar call echoed behind her that Rebecca stopped in her tracks, her body tensing from recognizing the voice.
"Becca, it really is you!"
Isabella Joanna excitedly walked up to Rebecca, removed her sunglasses that covered her entire face, and her face was full of unexpected delight.
